Amazing as usual, im very passionate about dub techno too, especially on the modular. Got my attention :) Wish the sub frequencies were more upfront in the mix... there so juicy! thanks for sharing.
Awesome vibe !! Always easy to think that great music is obtained by the great gear. But you always clearly show you need two more elements: great skill and a great musical feeling :) Keep those awesome videos coming :)
hi Lucas. thanks for being you. In my opinion, you have the most interesting channel on RUclips. what you do is very exciting and beautiful. I've looked at hundreds of tutorials and none of them made music that I like. you knew how angry I was that I could not find answers to questions. and finally, thanks to you, I learned how to do it. I will definitely subscribe to your patreon. a little bit later. I am in Ukraine, there is a war here and not everything is so simple. I have a question and I hope you have time to answer. I have dfam and neutron and an empty case 88 hp. what would you recommend to buy from the modules for creating movement and maybe something else functional for finding happy incidents and creating new sounds. I see what you are using, but it is better if you advise, so I will know for sure that I did not make a mistake in choosing. Thanks a lot
Hello ! Thank you very much for your kind comments. I can't imagine how the situation is in Ukraine right now... you have my full support. I find that random is a very nice way to add movement and modulation. Something like Pamela's New Workout is very featured packed and offers a lot of options if you don't mind a bit of menu diving. A versatile enveloppe like Contour 1 can do a lot too (oscillator, lfo, slew, EG etc...) and is always a good addition. Then also simple mixers/vcas/attenuators to mix different modulation sources for surprise results ! All the best, let me know if you have other questions.
The answer is yes!
hehe thank you !
Definitely got the sound. Vocoder/filterbank is often the secret sauce. Well done! I hope I can find a used Bark Filter someday.

Bark has such a beautiful sound signature, I'm sure the Sputnik is great too.

Awesome!
love this sound
Thats a great tune. Go ahead!
Thanks a lot ! It was a lot of fun to make
Do you remember what you did with the all followers output in this patch?
I think I ran it through the sequence selector but then forgot which parameter I sent it to...
Yeah nice. Bark is perfect for that. I think the delay being used is el Capistan. Love that thing also.
Yeah El cap is so good. I've also used Valhalla Tape Delay here. Both on the chord.

Damn man, switch to dub techno ;)
I can leave chord like that playing in the background for an hour no problem ahah
Can I ask what the sound sources was for this
Thanks
the verbos modules you see on the screen :)
Le son très large 👍
What tape delay?
My guess ,the El Capistan :) And maybe a pinch of Jomox T-Resonator ?
Excellent guess ! The T-Res has been on the shelf for a while, due for a comeback. I've used the Valhalla Tape Delay here as well as the El Capistan.
Very verbose demonstration of the verbos with nice vintage verb
