The Breeders play Driving on 9 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame lobby after a rain storm

On September 7, 2023, The Breeders began their 30th anniversary tour of their Last Splash album at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. The original four members aimed to play the album in its entirety. but the Cleveland rain canceled the show as the song Hag started. Undeterred, the band came inside the Rock Hall lobby and played for a small group of people who luckily had not left. This was a very special moment for everyone involved. Jim Macpherson plays drum on the chair. Kelley Deal can't get enough sound from her guitar, so she pulls out her phone and plays lead guitar via an app. Josephine Wiggs is not in this video, but she rocked out on bass out in the rain prior. This song is Driving on 9.

In spite of how her wet hair looks…Kelley’s dedication to their performance is impressive. Didn’t the organizers at Rock and Hall of Fame have a couple of dryers or a hair stylist with them? They sure knew there was a rain storm approaching to the town.
