Самая красивая постановка и исполнение , идеальная техника, грация, пластика на высшем уровне, лучше просто никто не может, просто глаз невозможно оторвать!!! Гениально!!!
Breathless performance! Plushenko at his best, he was young, strong and determined to win all the competitions he went into. No other skater can match him!
è perfetto in tutto nei movimenti,nei salti,in tutto...cosa gli vuoi dire ad una persona del genere? meno male che ritorna a gareggiare...plushenko the king of ice
He is the absolute TOP in the ice skating world for me!!!! I love each momevemnt he does, his choice of music, all the steps he does, each movement of his body is just perfect, the most difficult technical turns which he does look so easy and natural, the diversity, the intense way of flying above the ice almost... everything so dynamic from the first moment till the last without a breath, just amazing how wonderful the way Plushenko performs the Bolero!!!! LOVE IT!!!!
I can watch Plushenko skate all day long! He's the best skaters ever. I doubt that there'll be any male skaters better than him in 10 years, looking at today's skaters. He' deserved the gold medal in 2010 so much, I felt really sorry that he couldn't make it to become the greatest legend on ice ever. However, he's still luckier than the legendary Michelle Kwan who lost her Olympics gold medals to other mediocre girls!
LOOOVE this short programme very much, love the music, love the outfit, love the dancesteps, and especially i love the way Plushenko performed, so confident and delicate, he's really doing great job here, thanx for sharing ^^
OK I forgot how awesome this SP was. It is seriously my favourite ever now. It's so fully of energy, the footwork is incredible and the interpretation of the music is brilliant. Beautiful.
1:12 ...haha, priceless ^^ now THAT is one example of the joy he must feel while skating, living proof he is much more than just an athlete, he is an artist!
Torvill and Dean are also great for what they achieved and for what they still do; I love to watch them too but stil they are two and he is ONE, UNIQUE one doing the job of TWO... Anyway I enjoyed this clip very much and will save it in my favorites to watch it again and again!!!! THANKS for posting it!!!! *( why is this cut at the end = the most interesting part of his reactions and his public after all(?))
is it just me, or are the russian skaters (yagudin, butyrskaya, slutskaya etc) always one of the best??? OO i love this performance of plushy :) he kicks ass
Plushenko's programme was more complicated and he made no mistakes in Vancouver, thus, the gold belonged to him. Moreover, they could have given him the second gold like Americans did it to Canadians in Salt Lake City, he-he... But SOMEONE has lost the need for fairness and justice.
I don't understand why everybody should head for Torvill and Dean's and try to imitate them? I agree, they were the best, but Plushenko has shown something quite new and different in his version, and I don't think it's correct to compare. Remember, how many versions of Carmen have you seen at the contests? And each of them is incomparable, and great in it's own way.
If Plushenko were "the worst you've ever seen of him" the judges wouldn't have given him 1,35 points less than they gave Lysacek. Boring or not boring - it's not holiday on ice here, it's an Olympic programme he was showing. Moreover, there are points for artistism, he might have not got the maximum, but you score 95% of your points with technique, not an emotional show Lysacek presented us. Plushenko could be neither slow, nor fast - his movements CORRESPONDED to the rhythm of the music!!!
Allow me to disagree with you...I think that bolero gives a tone most of majesty,so the movements have to show this,showing pride and strength.....so i think that his choreography matched perfectly with the music....
@xxradiance I'd rather say Evan's performence was more a show than a technical master-piece. Technically Plyushenko was far more complicated.I would say that's what did cost him the gold medal - he had less theatrical stuff and more technical virtuosity. But the general public always prefers the show - it's easier to be impressed by it,it targets simple people who make the majority. Lysacek's choreographer was Tatyana Tarasova as well,we can't say who has contributed more to his chor.skills.
@bibi24 You're right. But Ten 17 y.o., Hanyu 15 y.o. Plushenko could do the Bilmann, when he was 22 y. o. And he had groin hernias on both sides. After he didn't try, but in 2010 he did half Bilmann.
@Heightofhate tbqh I wasn't exactly moved by Evan's performance either...it wasn't very emotional for me. I really just thought it was very good technically. But Lori Nichol always does good choreography her her skaters.
@krokabrot1 that stupid Lysazek has nothing compared to Plushenko's gift. It''s like trying to compare a merely human against an ice god. It's a big shame that he was so punished in Vancouver cause if someone deserved a gold medal was him, not a mediocre man who only jumps triple (perfectly, yes) but without any other talent and objective than "try" to beat the Russian.
the program is over four minutes long..if it was ten seconds, all Plushenko had to do was a quad, then he would win....and you should not call anyone a pussy because it's unmanly to do so.
@Heightofhate Yeah...I guess I just mean I wasn't moved by his skating but I guess that's just subjective. I've just always thought Plushy has had more of a stage presence and the technical skill to back it. I guess he thought his knees would be ok for it =\ I think Plushy needs to get that ballet dancer to do his choreography again. He did Tribute to Nijinsky and that was an absolutely perfect routine. I didn't know that. Tatiana is such a great choreographer.
Now...if he skated like this in Vancouver, he would;ve gotten the gold...he had the jumps, the speed, the spins, the footwork, and artistry...BUT he didn't..he was slow, sloppy, and worst of all, he has no humility....Go EVAN!
He's soooo amazing before 20, after that, he his programme didn't perform much, a very good jumper though. He's supposed to be the only male skater who can do bellmann spin. But he's sitspinn didn't look good
Technically brilliant. But his movements are far too fast and manic and don't go well with the music. Bolero is a passionate piece and he just seems to be racing round the rink!
i respectfully disagree with you...He was the worst i've ever seen of him...He was awesome in the past...not this time....his hip shaking looks ridiculous, his steps were slow, his spins sloppy, and his impressive quad was not great. and i wasn't impressed by the skate, as i got bored during the second half of the skate....and i would like to ADD that Lysacek made no mistakes as well....But you are open to your own opinion!

My favourite short program - I think.... He is always great. Also love the program with Russian folksongs!
la mejor palabra par describirlo es GLORIOSO!!
Breathless performance! Plushenko at his best, he was young, strong and determined to win all the competitions he went into. No other skater can match him!

What a speed and the jumps hight. I absolutely love this athlete and he is a challenge for any judge.
КРАСИВО, МОЩНО, БЕЗУПРЕЧНО. ТАК МОЖЕТ ТОЛЬКО ЖЕНЯ!!!
❤️
Bravo!!!! from Brasil.
Ah, I remember falling in love with him after seeing his first performance! That time, no one could beat him! Absolutely awesome!
LOOOVE this short programme very much, love the music, love the outfit, love the dancesteps, and especially i love the way Plushenko performed, so confident and delicate, he's really doing great job here, thanx for sharing ^^

El mejor el unico plushy te amamos desde mexico
1:12 ...haha, priceless ^^
now THAT is one example of the joy he must feel while skating, living proof he is much more than just an athlete, he is an artist!
Can't... breathe... he grips you and never lets your eyes off him...!
He is TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot!!! Anuradha from Finland.
It's amazing that he could do the Bielman spin just as well as any woman. I don't think I've seen any other male skater even attempt that position.
Just just stunning and breath taking.
Torvill and Dean are also great for what they achieved and for what they still do; I love to watch them too but stil they are two and he is ONE, UNIQUE one doing the job of TWO...

He is a fantastic skater. Awesome !
I think Pluschenko and Yagudin are the best ice-skaiter in the world. amazing.... They are on the top!
He is number one, but he didn't dance like this in Vancouver this year... Did he take it for granted? His "Bolero" is fantastic!!!!
Гениально!
Plushenko is amazing!!!
This guy is just wonderful xD loved him ever since I saw him performing
He was really amazing yesterday, the music, the outfit and the mental power was perfectly... for me.. he is the winner..
Фигурист на все времена!!!!
E' il migliore!!!!!
Plushenko, you are amazing!!!
pure art and charisma.
amazing!!!!
which year and competition is this?
lindo!!lindo!!!
he's the best dancer I've ever seen in my life and I'm so sad he's quitting now...
I'm sooooo in love!
he's great!
Precise and perfect - whatever everyone else says. If you want pretty boys, go somewhere else.
is it just me, or are the russian skaters (yagudin, butyrskaya, slutskaya etc) always one of the best??? OO

さすが プルシェンコ!!
最高です
@Dylvente Denis Ten of Kazakhstan. Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan. They both perform Bielman as current senior international skaters.
ГЕНИЙ!!!!
the greatest skater ever i love you.resspect for russia
wooooow
this was brilliant
Zhenja,please skate again!I love you!

ohh I love Evegeni *-* amazing *-*

He is quiting....but he's preparing a surprise for all his fans:-)
See him at september again, on ice, on the competitions...
Allow me to disagree with you...I think that bolero gives a tone most of majesty,so the movements have to show this,showing pride and strength.....so i think that his choreography matched perfectly with the music....
I should say, he is greater than the best!!!!!!!!!!!! how to find another sexy and wonderful skater like him????? dear Zhenya, i love you!
he is the best, so beatiful *-*
@xxradiance

@freefree2222 You're right! Michelle Kwan should have won... And you are not alone, i can watch Evgeni all day long...I'm not tired of his skating.
My favourite short program - I think....
Best part of the performance? the biellmann spin.
worlds 2001, he won the gold medal
@Fanofice I don't want him to retire, but I hope he doesn't push himself and hurt himself either. :( That would be horrible and sad.
ohh evgeni *-* excellent beatiful *-*
i totally agree!
凄い…

@xxpolkadotprincess He really can be very funny or ironic. Here he looks so brave and serious but still very cute and funny!
the best ever
@Heightofhate tbqh I wasn't exactly moved by Evan's performance either...it wasn't very emotional for me.

Disagreement without argument is a typical feature of those who are wrong.
@Solangeag I completely agree!
plushenko the best skater on the world!Quadruple was rediculous? make lysacek one redicoulos quadruple!!
@nestersg right!!
@krokabrot1 I agree totally!!!!!
He looks like Ivan Braginsky. I'm not sure whether to squee or run for my life.
the program is over four minutes long..if it was ten seconds, all Plushenko had to do was a quad, then he would win....and you should not call anyone a pussy because it's unmanly to do so.
@nestersg
Could not put it better!
torvill and dean have nothing on this guy
@Heightofhate Yeah...I guess I just mean I wasn't moved by his skating but I guess that's just subjective. I've just always thought Plushy has had more of a stage presence and the technical skill to back it. I guess he thought his knees would be ok for it =\

@bibi24 Wow! Thanks.
AGREED
Watch him dance to Sex Bomb here on You Tube - it's very funny and he is just great.
You need to consult with your doctor...
He's good (though I'm all for Yags), but come on...going for a Bolero after TORVILL AND DEAN?!? What a nerve :D
Dear Koreans! Yes, too high, but Yu Na was the best
Yess, he was great. Too bad he messed up the jumps. Same goes for Lambiel, h was great, but ... :/
Ah, well. Maybe the championship.
doesnt really have the same impact of torvill and dean tho
lol
This is Hott
have you seen his "sex bomb"???
it's really funny
Digimon music LOL
haha ironic, plushenko absolutely takes over america with bolero, only to be over taken with the same piece of music by an american.
it was good, but homestly, torvill and dean should be the only people skating to bolero!
Now...if he skated like this in Vancouver, he would;ve gotten the gold...he had the jumps, the speed, the spins, the footwork, and artistry...BUT he didn't..he was slow, sloppy, and worst of all, he has no humility....Go EVAN!
this Bolero routine cannot beging to compare to Torvill and Dean's version.
He's soooo amazing before 20, after that, he his programme didn't perform much, a very good jumper though. He's supposed to be the only male skater who can do bellmann spin. But he's sitspinn didn't look good
I respectfully disagree...
