Foreigners don't have a problem buying a house in Korea, if you have the money (isn't that the truth). Personally I wouldn't live in Seoul, overpriced property and the market is dropping but not enough. Eventually there will be a big market correction and that is the time to buy. However if you are reliant on a loan you have obstacles as you pointed out.
We bought an apartment at a great deal. Seller was motivated to sell. 4/2 with underground parking, semi private elevator (only two units per floor), about 1,500 sq ft. for $275K. Its near Pyeongtaek close to the US military base, Camp Humphreys. Great rental market too.
One thing you might consider is to buy in a good rental area. Realize this place will most likely not be your forever home. So when you sell you want it to have value either in appreciation and or as an income producing asset. In that Korea is facing a surplus of housing and not enough buyers, finding a place in a good rental market is important. Nothing worse than buying a place then selling later down the road and you can't. Worst case you can't sell it but you could rent it out if its in a good rental area.

I personally love house 4, 5, and 6 because of the extra outdoor spaces and good lighting. Loved this video it gave me an idea on what to expect when buying houses near seoul, kinda hated though how the camera movements made me dizzy it can be improved, hope you guys can find a nice place to finally call home❤

My guys! Wow. The houses there are all quite small to me. I really don't like small bedrooms like you Brandon. My two favorite were house 7 and 11. They had nice flow to to them both and nice lighting which is important to me personally. Wish we could have seen the one that you couldn't film. I forgot which number house had that nice terrace but that would be a contender too. Just remember Sora wants three babies Brandon, Lol. Loves yall!!✌🤍

This is why I like the city my Korean Grandma was from, it's not near the Seoul area so it's way cheaper lol. In a few years i'm thinking about moving over there but I'm an ocean kid so i couldn't do Seoul. Alot of my friends and younger family live in Incheon anytime i visit me being a larger person i'm like I can't do it man I need open space take me to Grandma's lol.

Are you trying to buy a house before your wedding or after the wedding.
Yes it matters. You have a finite amount of money. You can’t spend it on the House and the Wedding at the same time.
You could however buy the house first and have the wedding at the house if you pick a house with the terraces or a backyard
The plan was to buy a house before the wedding, but interest rates keep changing.
So we are still debating!
But, never thought about having the wedding at the house! That’s a great idea!!
