So pretty, you have an amazing gift for painting beautiful loose florals. There is something so joyful and free about both your paintings and the way you paint them.
Hello Debra, I discovered your work some time ago and I'm really attracted to your style, your work with pigments diluted with mastery gives very interesting results. I love the spontaneity and freshness of your achievements and I hope to be able to follow your work for a long time to come. Thank you for this precious sharing and your generosity. You learn a lot from talented people who know how to pass on, people like you. Beautiful life, beautiful watercolours, Bruno in France.
Hi Debra, I'm loving your videos. I've been binging.......what is the paper you use for your loose floral techniques such as this one? Thank you for sharing your gift with us!!
Hello Debra. I love your style of painting flowers and would really like to learn more in painting in a "loose" style. I was wondering if you would be able to record a spoken guide with your process on this piece. Thanks so much for your beautiful work! Anne in Canada.
Hi Anne, there is usually a transcript right at the lowest end of all the blurb. When an artist speaks during the video it is all in the transcript. I looked for one here but there is none. Some of her other videos do have transcripts. Hope this helps somewhat. BW from South Africa🤗
Yes, I’m known to use ink once in awhile but lately I’ve been using mainly watercolor as a lot of my supplies are in storage 1600 miles away. I’m not a huge fan of the watercolor pencils unless it’s for mark making or a fine detail. Thanks for tuning in.
Debra Lyn, this may seem like strange question, but I noticed that your paint puddles as though you were using a porcelain palette. How did you ever get a plastic palette to do that????
The paint will stop beading over time with most plastic pallettes especially if you tend not wash or wipe them down a lot. You can use a magic eraser the original kind, scrub pallette with it and rinse, let dry and use as normal. You can also use steel wool to scuff it a bit or use a glue stick, you rub some glue all over the pallette rub as much off as possible, give it a quick rinse and dry, this one also works on metal palettes.
Hi Debra, I am wondering how you are as I have not seen a recent video from you. I hope all is well with you and that you are back in RUclipsland whenever you are able! xxx
I’m well, just a lot going on, I move across the country, I’m just getting settled, should be back to watercolors once the dust settles. Thanks for asking.
carissima Debra,i tuoi acquerelli sono veramente stupendi ed originali . Grazie sono per me fonte di ispirazione .

Hi Debra, I'm loving your videos. I've been binging.......what is the paper you use for your loose floral techniques such as this one? Thank you for sharing your gift with us!!
Hi Tami, my favorite watercolor paper is Fabriano Artistico in Extra White, Cold Press 140#

Thanks so much, I’m not even sure how to change the video once it’s created, I’m a little bite tech challenged.

❤ I do so like your style, may I ask you what size of paper do you usually use?
Usually i used a half sheet, it fits with in my setup and its big enough to express myself!
Thank you!
You’re welcome
Beautiful! Your red and yellow played so happily together! May I ask what colors you used?
Thank you so much! Im sport I didn’t write it down. I need to start doing that!
I'm not happy with my reds. What is your bold red thanks. I love your work
Honestly, I don’t remember, I was just grabbing what’s at hand, which happens a lot. Typical for working spontaneously.
I buy professional grade paints but I don't have a bold red that I like. Most are too pink or orange. Thanks
Lovely Debra! That white paint you used to splater is it gouache?
It looks like DH Martin’s bleed proof white to me going by the jar.
@@nkguenther1 thanks
I also paint poppies / florals! Do you ever use ink or Inktense pencils?

What size is the paper that you are using
I typically use a half sheet in my videos
Awesome! Do you have a Patreon? I would sign up if you did. Or teach any classes please let me know.
Just found your channel. What paper do you use for your very wet creations? Thank you. Sonia. Canada
I like cold press 140# or 300# cotton paper by Fabriano.
Beautyfull, can you tell me what kind of paper u use for this piece?
Thankyou, it’s 100% cotton Fabriano
