You gotta love the details on technique and different progressions. I had shoulder impingement from lifting bench too heavy and having weak back/shoulders. Focusing on proper technique and doing body weight exercises like pushups and swimmers has fixed my shoulder pain. It also helps that my wife is a physiotherapist, so she helped too lol
@@sidneynobrega4391 Doing one (level 2) and its good. But takes patience and faith that the gains will come :). Love El Eggs and Sven. Bodyweight is the only way to train.
A video related to common joint injuries in calisthenics would be great ! How to prevent them and recover from it. It would be nice to hear that from calimove. Like the comment if you agree !
Just signed up for the pro level body transformation. I’ve done some other programs - really good ones like AthleanX. But I am blown away at the detailed explanations for each exercise including progressions and regressions to meet specific tempo and performance standards. Short of employing one of these guys as your own personal trainer, their programs are as close as you can get.
Me 5 months ago = 1 proper push up and some inclined push ups Me now = Diamond push ups, standard push ups, Archer push ups , vertical dips, decline push ups , spiderman push ups , Have done max 15-20 repitions of each . This is just about the triceps 😉 Thanks calimove and fitness FAQs.
@@ktleen I do a lot more but I do these to focus more on triceps , chest . There is a looong list of exercises that I do to train deltoids, back , legs, abs, triceps and chest
@@0xDEAD-C0DE Yeah if he just started than 5 months ago it's clearly not enought for the technical aspect. It's really hard to reach perfection but if he sees it as progress it's nice.
That tip on pulling at the elbow for the back/lats has been my technique for years. It has improved my strength so much. I haven’t seen anyone else on RUclips teach this method. Thanks and Finally!?!
I joined 2 years ago and went through all levels from beginner to expert. I have learned so much about right movements and right amount of efforts. I've always trained since teenage, but in a very instinctive way. Now that I'm 37, I need to avoid injury at all costs and the program with all the explanation it provides is a huge help. I getting closer to power moves such as front lever, and I'm still improving thanks to these guys !
@ISED at this point I did some weeks of preparation, meaning that I had to get to a point I could do a decent deepsquat and that took a while. Now I have finished preparation and first week and I can already notice that my left arm which was affected by an injury in the neck is become softer. I never thought I could do a deepsquat at all :)
@ISED Indeed. I am also doing this in preparation of doing the calisthenics course. I suspect it will be a lot nicer if I start wiht proper mobility, possibly it will help also progress better :) wrt strength, I am noticing that, especially the legs feel more worked that I thought they would
I recommend this channel to everyone, along with Fitness Faqs and Saturnomovent. These guys provide us with information that is GOLDWORTHY,and all of that for free.I must say,I made a huge progress with your tips in terms of strength and muscle size, also mobility and flexibilty making me feel light as fether, but at the same time super strong. That was the feeling I was always after, not the perfect gym physique because these benefits are incomparable to them,in my opinion of course. I also went injury free for all the time since I started watching these channels, and also I just started warming up for the goals that I am after, and with these 3 channels they don't seem that unreachable. So THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! Keep up the good work guys,we need more people like you! Also it makes my day better seeing that you do collabs, and not competeng with each other. Cheers!💪
They have the best mobility and calisthenics progressions program by far. Everything is so well structured and reach all levels, from beginning to most advanced
Yeah I've been doing a lot of these wrong and have been working out for 2 years. I also have hyper mobility so I wasn't sure why I wasn't feeling things properly
Really good advice, thanks. I've definitely been doing my flutter kicks and my rows with bad form! The flutter kicks especially absolutely tear up the abs when you do them properly! Thanks!
Hello, great and helpful video, as usual, especially the part with visualization rows as elbow resistance. May I ask for a piece of advice? What do I do wrong, and how can I help it, if my pull ups look like this: I start bringing my shoulder plates together and trying to activate lats, and it actually works first half of the movement, but at the end of the movement shouder plates just go back in wider position and elbows moves slightly forward?
Well, you are right about the burpees... at least some of the time. It deeply depends on the context. I'd argue that in some circumstances it is actually great to learn the "wrong" version, so you can do it in a controlled manner. That will actually help you during competitions.
My right elbow clicks and hurts during pushups I think it is not able to bear my upper body weight I am not overweight, i am right in middle of average weight Height : 5.7 ft Weight : 67 kgs
proof me wrong but this is the first video, where someone is doing the burpee 100% right. 1. his pushup is clean 2. his transition to the squat is pretty good and this squat itself 3. and he is jumping STRAIGHT plus this is also damn clean i learned a lot from you guys THANKS
Could you make a video about elbow sleeves and wrist wraps? They are such a common equipment especially for higher level athletes but I think particularly the sleeves are just a waste of money and offer no benefit. Nobody has targeted this question before
1 thing or 2. Getting back from lockdown I'm primarily looking for burning calories and getting back to my mediocre workout routines. What should I focus on; cardio machines or workouts - both with a low carb meal. 1 thing about legs I've seen that you can focus train that front part of your leg - the calf on the back and this little bulb on the front - what about that little thing? And what do you think about gear such as a Pinch block and a massage gun?
I do like your channel and your advice is easy to understand but I see conflicting advise from doctors on RUclips. Are you a qualified personal trainer or physical therapist or is your advise based on experience/your own research?

To be honest their programs are the. Best programs I have ever seen in calisthenics
