Marco Van Basten already had 3 Ballon D'ors at 26 but got injured that same year and was never able to play a professional game again. If it wasn't for that injury he'd probably have as many or more Ballon d'ors than Ronaldo (5), so if he had a couple more injury free seasons he'd be in the goat debate now.

Great video the ranking is mostly accurate Van Basten, Gullit & Rijkaard were the best at their time but the 3Rs was actually 4Rs (Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos)
Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez/ Mordic, Casemiro, Kroos were missing. The first trio didn't play for a long period together but they were deadly and scary, and the second trio... c'mon, best and most complete midfield of all time and it's not even close
