i was one of the winners of the noise hardoween art contest (i made the toilet, pizza torture rack, coffin, and tombstone). i remember back in highschool i considered it my greatest achievement in life. what i find funny about it is that several popular pizza tower mods have reused my props in the years since making it by far the most widely known art i've ever made so in a way it still is my greatest achievement.

Funny to note that the blue outfit in the final game is called "Sage Blue", and is unlocked for beating all the levels in the first floor under an hour, which are all the levels featured in the SAGE demo

13:15 the fact that mcpig seemed disgusted by the idea of the grinch demo being here is funny because a friend playing the grinch demo in vc was my first exposure to pizza tower. i was familiar with it before it was released and became huge, so a lot of these beta elements which you find really weird look more "right" to me (even if i think the final version of most of them look much much better lol.)

At the end of the game, he would reveal his true form, that being the Pizza Tower itself and his boss battle would be similar to the boss fight with Rudy the Clown

30:32 LEANING NIGHTMARE, the one played during this demo, is not in the final build, but a remix of it called LEANING DREAM is in the final build, and it serves as the pause theme (you may hear the similarities)
Leaning Dream was originally Deep-Dish 9's theme, so Leaning Nightmare was the escape theme version of it (since every level had a unique escape theme).

Peppino's Xmas Break was made after SAGE 2019, And also Strongcold rooms are separate from Bloodsauce Dungeon rooms.

This is why I sort of see sugary spire lazy, they took like the base game and repainted not really putting much effort to like how many years it took for pizza tower to come out
Fun fact the “bottle” transformation from sugary spire is actually just stolen from pizza tower was they redid it (also because in the unfinished state that is of the next sugary spire demo the turn animation for the bottle transformation IS ACTUALLY JUST THE ROCKET PEPPINO ANIMATION) in conclusion this really grinds my gears

Fun piece of trivia, the escape theme from Snick's challenge is called "Leaning Nightmare".
The first 4 notes of that song are reused in the pause screen theme in the final game called "Leaning Dream"
The specific part of the second stream wasn't included here, but the reason Vinny's video of the Peppino's Xmas Break demo was half an hour long wasn't because he played it twice, rather he just played it once and stunk at it. He got stuck at a lot of places, retried The Noise miniboss a handful of times, and beat the level with 0 points. Considering Strongcold's harder difficulty and how Vinny had played Pizza Tower's 2018 Halloween and SAGE demos, I wouldn't put Vinny at any strong faults, though.
My favourite Noise taunt is the one that refrences Tom being in a giant suit in that one Tom and Jerry episode

Because the dev cycle of this game was so transparent, you can pretty much see every idea that ended up on the cutting room floor:
5:58 Originally, The Noise was meant to be the main antagonist.
19:58 Pizza time was meant to corrupt the levels. It was even meant to have an original escape track for every level alongside a B-section track for each level (which still exists for Pizzascape, The Ancient Cheese, Gnome Forest by technicality and The Pig City) but that all proved to be too much work for the composers.
20:37 Also, there were plans for all the current bosses (except the final) to be player characters, but having unique movesets would have meant that the level design would have had to have been way looser.

I remember one of my old friends showing me a lot of these. Like this was way before Pizza Tower was really on anyone's radar so this is all fairly nostalgic to me. Weird to say cos these are only a few years old but I was like still in high school when this was happening, and now I'm holding a full time job after a trade school graduation.

The PilotRedSun grinch level is a real treat
Fun fact: In the Early Test Build, there's a bunch of data from the builds that predated it which were originally only seen through videos specifically uploaded by Pizza Tower's creator.
Said data, including maps, enemies, and a bunch of other stuff, can be accessed pretty easily, although since some things have changed between said builds and the Early Test Build, some things are broken due to objects/rooms being changed around (e.g. locked doors used to warp to different levels but they don't do that anymore, pillar johns had different unlocking mechanics (and you sometimes had to feed them to _stop_ Pizza Time), some rooms have broken camera movement, some doors don't lead anywhere and crash the game).
I'd love to see like extra levels with the noise as an extra character you unlock after beating it

It's so weird seeing you play these backwards. The sausage was missing in a ton of demos so people would wonder if he would show up in the final game at all. It became sort of a joke, so hearing you say "oh the sausage from Peppinobot Factory" is so foreign to me.
My experience with pizza tower was the opposite where I played these demos back then, laptop fucking died, game came out like, couple months after, finally got to play the game like last week and was like “what the hell happened this is completely different (and better)”

To be more specific, they are references to videos by "iteachvader," who has made several original songs out of clips from "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" (also known as the Sonic Saturday Morning Cartoon, or "Sonic SATAM"). The three specific songs that are referenced in Snick's taunts are "Hedgehog Stew," "Getaway Submarine," and "Skydiving!"
There are still a lot to experience in terms of Pizza Tower cut content like the Boss Fight agents Mr. Stick or the other Noise Move set but otherwise this was a nice video going over most of all the “Lore” of PT.
