Hi there! Great Video! I was wondering, which video of yours do you recommend to watch next ? I'd like to continue learning more about this. All your videos are amazing! Is there one in particular you recommend to watch next? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hey Dr. Mike! Kept us waiting too long. I was really waiting for your videos. Anyway... very very happy to see u again. Once again awesome video. Really helpful, brilliantly explained. Thank u soo much. See u soon....!!
Thanks Dr Mike, very elaborate If you don't mind asking, what would you look at if you are asked ''How do the content of the gut influence our well-being?''
This is the best description of bacteria breakdown in the body. I'd love to see more videos on the Neuro microbiome link. Every time I take 6g of prebiotics (glucomannan) I sleep longer (9hrs) when I typically suffer from crazy insomnia and don't have an otherwise constant tremor. Parkinsons runs in my family.
You are an angel. You explained it very well. Can you please tells if the lack of bacteroidetes increase the progression of celiac disease whencyou carry the hla dq2 or dq8 ?
Awesome. Excellent lesson, well presented. Thank you! My summary: 1:16 microbiota vs microbiome (genetic output?) 5:00 bacteria quantity/density in dif areas of digestive tract 7:00 duodenum, interesting 8:00 intestinal bacteria produce metabolic products. These help us absorb vitamins and minerals. Also Short Chain Fatty Acids: reduce inflammation; help absorptoin and digestion; other regulation (metabolism, digestion, anti-inflammation, etc?) roles. 9:30 types of bacteria in the gut. ~6 main phyla types in the gut == about 160 species of bacteria. Phyla examples: actinobacteria; proteobacteria; cyanobacteria; etc.. Species examples: H.Pylori (stomach); Side note: about 1000 species of bacteria that live around us have been identified. But only a portion are found in our gut. @11:10 11:50 difference in species/strain of gut bacteria between people. BUT similarity in function/roles ("functional outcome") of these bacteria. @18:00 importance of diversity (and balance) in bacteria.
I wouldn't be promoting information like if the woman delivered by caesarian, the baby will develop microbiota within 3-6 months. Mom typically will be on antibiotics around Sx, it means that the breast milk's microbiota is compromised and baby won't won't develop proper microbiota either.
Love your videos!!! Just subscribed and liked!!! Awesome information!!! Extremely interesting!!! And, by the way, you’re extremely good looking, too. Thanks for making these videos!!!

Parietal cells also creates the intrinsic factor. Intrinsic factor is needed to absorb vitamin b12.
