Tommy Hilfiger never said that, they lied on him. Actually he got more into hiphop the more he saw us embrace him. Whoever although Ralph Lauren never showed racism he did not feel that he owed us, though he heavily sees us wear his clothes. To me Polo always had & always will have the best attire period & honestly no one ever influenced his creativity we have actually been inspired by him. But my African American people will we openly admit that Ralph Lauren has influenced us more than we influenced him? Give credit where it's due. We can't be haters he is the one European American who is a beast when it comes to clothing & he doesn't owe anybody an apology for not doing what people want him to do. Me personally I cannot keep up with Gucci and how he showed signs of racism if his clothes are nice go by his clothes people. We're not slaves anymore okay guys? Do you think that the slaves that were freed went out to purchase clothes only from those who they check to make sure weren't racist? People listen we have to stop being petty choose your battles this is not a good battle. There is a real battle going on against Gangster Disciples and Black Disciples in Chicago there is a war going on in Chicago with Vice Lords fighting against Latin Kings. There are Crips killing Crips and bloods killing Bloods and bloods killing Crips and Crips killing Bloods in Los Angeles. There are drug wars in Baltimore and there are Hitman that are trained assassins at very young ages working for drug lords in their communities. They are our youth in my city Washington DC killing anybody they can who gets in their way. There is a generation throughout the South region of this country that you cannot correct without getting a bullet in your skull. We need to learn how to fight our battles people. If you like the stupid shirt wear the shirt. If you don't like the shirt don't wear the shirt. But consider the fact that we are our worst enemies and we should be laughed at because we celebrate murder in our music and then cry about some stupid small-minded stuff that Gucci promoted. The wise thing that we should have done was to make a little small comments and ignored it and treated him like he was small to us his brain is probably big to us but we should have talked about him like he was small minded. Do you honestly think in your right mind that the Japanese and the Chinese who have been getting made fun of for decades care about anything somebody has to say about them? The only true reason why we care so much is because we want everyone's approval and sorry my people we're never going to get everyone's approval. If Robin from Baskin and Robbins ends up saying that he doesn't think little black children are cute afterwards you're going to try to get us to stop eating Baskin and Robbins and you're going to treat us like we're scum of the bottom of the Earth because we ate some Baskin Robbins. We cannot control how everyone feels if these people feel like going out of their way to say how they feel let them they will reap what they sow but be the bigger person to move forward and deal with the weighty matters. A shirt is a small minded topic off the tops. A freaking shirt. No. We're not going to trip off of a shirt. We have been hung from trees. We have been raped and forced to in to labor. A freaking shirt? Are you kidding me? First of all that really truly honestly only offends those who spent all that money. I have nothing Gucci so I'm not in any way offended. And if you were offended then that's on you figure out how to get over your fence because life goes on but you cannot treat people like they have to think the way you think just to be the way that you want him to be. Someone can call me a sucker because I have avoided fights before in my life but then another person can say I'm a gangster because they saw me punch a police officer in the face before once when I was younger. Do you honestly think that either one of those people and their opinions dictate my life? No I have to make my own wise decisions I have to know how to pick and choose my battles everything is not a battle. The Gucci topic is a fail on our part because it was first a fail on his part. My African-American people we are no longer the Civil War fighting type of people any longer we are no more African American who had strong knit families inward focus on living a legal life as upstanding citizens who were just being bullied by the law. We are no longer those people. We Embrace drugs, we embrace the murder of our people in our music and in our culture, we embrace sleeping around with many different women I'm having a bunch of women At our disposal. Stop fronting like we are those same African Americans that we once were we're not we're far from it so stop playing. We love ghetto live and we love ghetto fights you love Worldstar but as soon as somebody corrects us about it we get all upset its time to start being real. What makes it so bad is that I was a part of that stereotype shooting my people stabbing my people sleeping with my women feeding crack cocaine to my people and now I'm going to front? nah...

Gucci has survived and will survive without the "black" dollar I was in Malin one year during fashion week at the Gucci store and befriended an Armenian guy and when the sales lady gave him his total it was $7000 and the one thing I noticed was nothing had a noticeable Gucci G on it....here in the U.S when I go to a Gucci outlet I see more Asians than anything else. So to hear boycott Gucci coming from us is funny af

We need to make a justice system for offenses against the black people. Some people was fine with the diversity training. Some people are fine with the apologies that Gucci did, some people are not. We have no justice system against these types of events so that's why it may seem like nobody's boycotting anymore.

    • @anthonyhenderson3189

@@anthonyhenderson3189 I'm just saying us as black people need to make a universal set of codes for how we're going to deal with white people in general and in certain situations. And if the way to deal with white people is to cut them off I'm with it if you with it

There are some who actually are down with us, just look at that part of history that gets ignored. But if we get a hint of anything foul, drop those individuals without remorse, be they a company or person. The issue isn't just black and white, it's blanket and direct.

TK did his interview that same week and said as if it was his original thought. He’s very close to DL. Absolutely no way he didn’t see. Anyone FACT CHECK IT.

I absolutely detest hearing " aint no racism like American racism" why do Americans regardless of color try to create a section just for them. In the Caribbean we experienced slavery and racism long before the USA. We just learned to fight against the odds, furthermore it was our descendants who migrated and gave many of the black people the courage to stand up for themselves.
