Giannis and jokic are the mvps in the last 4yrs in the NBA and doncic may have a chance to win next season. Eurobasket is like football it is unpredictable even you thought the other team is much stronger than the other. I hope Poland will get a medal.

Agreed, germans we’re getting the whistle and it kept them in the game bc they couldn’t hit a shot. had something like 5 possible 3 point free throws. Luka had to make circus shots with guys hacking at him.

The biggest problem is that because stupid war FIBA started against Euroleague, best European referees are not allowed to participate in Eurobasket. They work in Euroleague (where they get biggest salaries), so FIBA forbid them to participate and we have some third tier referees in this tournament. Every team agrees level of refereeing is horrible, but it is what it is.

@@DeanGl because it was FIBA that was organizing Euroleague (main Eureopean club tournament) until year 2000, but FIBA organization was shit, it took most of the money and clubs got very little, so a lot of the best clubs in Europe left FIBA tournament and created their own tournament. FIBA organized opposing tournament (so called SuproLeague), so we had two tournaments during 2000-01 season, but FIBA's tournament failed and after that only Euroleague left and FIBA can't overcome it - such money slipping their hands. 😆

Yeah, very different basketball, but it does help with strategy and passing, because the european game is very tactical and smart, while most of the NBA games focus on individual quality and the talent of those players which is incredible.
