I do 250+ regurlarly here in Germany on the Autobahn. Changing lanes at 240-250 gets my heart really going. I move the steering wheel 1cm and i feel the adrenalin, but this guys.... he's just mad! :D Awesome driving though haha :D (except for the tracking loss bit at the end... send the rear into a sudden drift while trying to change the lane... why?)

From 4:21 on it’s the toughest part for me. That overtake was more than close and after that there is a sequence where you can see him struggling to keep driving straight at very high speed with oncoming traffic.
I have to admit that I really enjoy watching this video. That part just gave me chills
During the overtake however, he did everything to the best of him to not cause a collision. Staying committed and in control is important in any overtake whether doing a very dangerous and illegal overtake like this, or legally on a country highway.
Too many people get cold feet, slow down, don't complete the overtake etc and cause a crash.

But after starting the overtake, he did everything to prevent a crash.
Going the velocity he did, after the second car appeared in oncoming lane, doing anything else would've been much more dangerous.

He posted the aftermath, there was a microphone left behind people were saying no one is with the vehicle and they saw someone runningr away
There was an interview with him.
Apparently he borrowed the car from a friend. After the crash he called te friend to tell him to report the car stolen. Everyone got away clean and insurance paid for the damages.

To anyone wondering what happened. He lost traction when he passed the van. He was already correcting for his oversteer when he then hit a patch of concrete. The change in surface caused an even more abrupt change in traction. At this point he could of just gone straight but he chose to go back to the right. The momentum shift caused his back end to kick out too much and hit the sign. But at that point it was all too little too late. Sign no sign he was going to spin and on that tight road there is no where to go.

he accelerated which wouldve meant we'd see some tire smoke plus he wasnt correcting, his wheel was straight ahead, then he tried to swerve onto the right lane, between the signs and failed

If you want to do this in Sweden, all you have to do is report ur car stolen then go for it, what ever you do dont let then catch you inside the car, if you have to leave the car, then leave it and just Walk away from it, hope you guys have fun.
No, you remove the plates and hide your face, then go joy ride and if you crash just make sure you make it home without being identified (maybe bring the car/bike key too) and then a convenient amount of time later report you car/bike stolen and have a good alibi (maybe some friends/family etc vouching for you). And this is not meant to help anyone commit a crime but simply stating facts.
You could do this in the states too.

Cops don't need to be chasing guys like this. It will only add to the danger to other drivers to have additional vehicles traveling at this speed. That's part of the reason why police don't chase these guys. But you are right, they don't even have the option to chase these guys with the vehicles they're assigned for duty
