Great addition, I've wanted it for a long time, just never have the money. It looks great but not a very functional model like today's stuff. It's like the m250 I have, single cast weights, only 1 boom configuration and some stuff isn't functional. If I ever get one, I want to add a few more boom inserts and a jib. Looks so much better with a long boom and jib. But I think you are correct about this being the only review. I know a couple people that have 1 but never seen a review or many photos of it.
Thank you the model definitely doesn't match up to todays models as far as functionality. However the model came out the same year and month that I was born making it 30 years old. It is definitely ahead of its time and as stated it is the only lattice truck crane on the market today. From what I know back in the day if you wanted a jib or more boom sections you had to custom order through CCM with your order. I have seen the Manitowoc 4100w jib will fit the model, so if you ever want a jib for it than you can put one of yours on it. If you ever get one and put more boom on it let me know what boom sections and how you did it. As it stands right now I am going to put a smaller hook on it and put some crane decals on it from a company that has one around me. I will also rig it up to replicate tilt up construction rigging wise since the boom is already set up for that configuration.
@@The690ELC that's cool. There's actually a couple more lattice truck cranes out there, lg1550 and lg1750. Hopefully soon a tc2800 comes out now that the cc2800 is coming. But I'd have to make my own boom sections, I doubt anything would fit it. Mitch Gomez made some and a jib for someone, before he passed last year. He was working on making about 180ft and a 80ft jib for my 238 right before. Unfortunately I never got the sections he finished. I've never done any brass work before but I'm sure I could figure it out. I need to get this and a 348 to fill my link belt collection. Well plus the new 100t rt and new at175.
@@cranedude07 We will have to see as far as new lattice truck crane models coming out .I always forget about the Liebherr ones, I guess what I should have said is American lattice truck cranes with the cab being off to the left hand side to drive the crane. If you ever get this and make boom sections let me know I would buy some off of you in a heartbeat. The new link belt 100rt is a nice model however it is much like the ltm1250 as far as the cylinder and boom head issues go.
