Between Snell, Doval, Hicks, etc, the giants really don’t seem to care about holding runners. Definitely makes Bailey that much more valuable to our team
Why does it matter? His ERA is sub 3, which means it doesn't matter....He only had 48 walks in 194 innings, so if he doesn't want to mess with his delivery to the plate...he should just work on cutting down his walks, which would give less steal chances. As a coach, that is what I would be telling him.
That amount of walks for innings pitched is already extremely low, his post 30 career looks more promising than Snell, Fried and most others right now. The consistency before his free agency is as good as it can get.
