For every NFL Team in this era of free agency, each year has its coaching challenges... with players lost through free agency & players brought in through free agency. But with the Bears, there have been SO MANY CHANGES... the influx of rookies starting at key positions; the free agent revolving door (some lost & many acquired); new assistant coaches on both defense & offense; and the implementation of an entirely new offensive system. And what doesn't help is the current minimal number of games that make up the exhibition season. YOUSA!! Getting this re-tooled roster up to speed for the Bears opening regular season game against the Titans at Soldier Field will take a mighty well-designed player/team development plan & a ton of diligence/determination on the part of the coaching staff, players & support staff. We fans need to be patient & do our best to hang in there on what will be an up & down ride with many twists and turns!! BEAR🐻DOWN!!!
2 rookies at new positions
I think a lot of fans are under estimating the fact that there are a lot of NEW moving parts on offense. With a rookie quarterback. Yeah the offense has a ton of talent but very little cohesion.
They only going get better
I can see the Bears going 0-4 to start the season again.
Forget press interviews! Just give us awesome on field results, the talking is done.
Never heard so much talk about cadence before. Wow
Personally, I think that talk about cadence is a bunch of crap. The team has all of training camp to get used to Williams' cadence.
If the Bears don’t win, we’ll probably have first dibs on the Texans OC.
I would only have Caleb getting snaps with the first team offensive line. No reason to risk it.
Barring a huge failure this year, Flus will get 2 years (this year and next).
The new OC Waldron will be good to go for at least two to three years... he's not on a one-year trial run.
@@davidskinner5265 he is if the Bears suck lol
@@he-mansuncle7661 depends on how they suck. If the offense sucks at the beginning, but completely gets better with each game that still would be good. Actually that’s the expected outcome.
Bears have built the roster, but I still think it's a bit thin. Always have to build the roster even if you're at the top. Chiefs have done a good job of this
Every team's roster (including the Chiefs) needs re-tooling due to free agency and/or the need to improve. In the NFL, there is no such thing as "good enough".
Did you see the wr group the Chiefs had last year?
Bears football baby!!!!!
Did this guy just say he could see the Bears winning 13 or 14 games next year?
Why would they say they expect to make the playoffs with a rookie who's cadence is off and doesn't pass the ball on time. I'm confused
Cadence is about the lowest thing in the gripe list. Every rookie qb has this issue for the same reason they don’t use one in college. Every mobile qb holds the ball long it’s what you do with it then. Fields held the ball too long because he can’t actually play qb and was confused where the ball was to go, Caleb was told to hold the ball long because USC needed a td on every play. One is uncoachable the other you can coach out, but there are times and places to still hold the ball
@@TheSjuris NFL QBs can't hold the ball because NFL defense will be on your as in 2.5 seconds
@@ORIGINAL__ONE plenty of QBs can move around and avoid the rush.
@@TheSjuris yea in college
@@ORIGINAL__ONE yea in the pros. Mahomes holds the ball longer than that so does Jackson. Only statue QBs can’t hold it that long.
Fishman is the my fav bears reporter
Preseason games are a joke.
