Excellent video thank you! I have a question if you can help. I reset the oil change for example to 5000miles. The problem is that it does not count down. After 1000miles it will still show 5000miles. It does not change. Any ideas?
Probably long figured this out but this happened to my CX-9. This was the fix: - press the start button (no foot on brake) - then hold the start button and trip button next to the speedometer at the same time. After several seconds there will be a rapidly blinking orange triangle light on the dash when it stops blinking you should be all set! If the problem persists after that, yes probably a trip to the dealer is necessary.
WOW! Just tried this and it solved my phone not connecting to the Bluetooth and a maintaince light that would not turn off. Hope the fix is real!! Dealerships would not help unless I paid hundreds to look into!!!
@@mikecarmean1676 Thanks for the above details this saved me a trip to Dealership and money. I have a 2018 CX-5 the warning wrench was showed up last 2 weeks, there was no service message neither vehicle status messages. I hope the car do not have any issues. The dealer would definitely rip me for this. Thanks Again :)
You are a legend mate..saved my $240 from these bloody Mazda dealers.
I’ve just solved a problem watching this! Thank you!
Thank you, it helped a lot ... a random mazda owner

what does it want when it says service past due?
Have a guess 🙄
Literly done that and oil change won't go away tbh weird even turned off and it won't go away haha
It would be worth taking it to your local dealer to see if they can sort it for you.

@@amathew22 so glad it helped! I think it's odd this occurs on these Mazdas but the wrench on ours is still off👍
