Volcanos are so fascinating but also so terrifying. My heart would be racing the whole time, afraid it would erupt. We're in training now so that one day we can safely jump off a boat and swim 50m like you. It really looks like an amazing experience with a mud spa included. Your skin was glowing afterward. You are a walking testimonial to the benefits of the mud bath.
Yay I was so excited to see this video and it did not dissapoint. Oh my golly goodness you were so close to the active part of the volcano especially that there was smoke, I would freak out, so so insane guys. The hot spring looked superb especially running the mud on your faces. Gosh Santorini is just the island that keeps giving, so many amazing places to see. I am absolutely loving your Greece videos, thank you for giving us the opportunity to see everything it has to offer.
Thank you, we’re so glad you’re enjoying seeing Greece😊 Santorini definitely has more to offer than just those famous insta views, although the views really are just everywhere you look😍
Wow what an awesome day! The area around the volcano looks like such a cool area to explore! I had no idea that part of the volcano is still active! The hot springs looked so fun. Also that boat that took you to all the islands was so cool! It really did look a bit like a pirate ship haha
What an adventure to explore a live volcano and walk on lava...it looks as if you guys were trekking on another planet! How fun that you were able to take a swim around a volcano, the mud definitely made you guys look youthful! Craig, good job on hanging on to the GoPro. The donkeys did have the best view...good thing you guys managed to get out of their way...I would have been racing up those stairs too!!
What a great trip! Such an amazing Island - looks so beautiful from your video & to experience the active volcano while you were there too! Wow! Never been to a volcanic island - tempted now I've seen this!!! The town & shops looked idyllic, great place to shop & just perfect with so few shoppers around!! Bet the warm waters were wonderful & great to get a 'natural spa treatment' included!!! Had to laugh at the mud residue on Craig's face, it looked like bruising from a punch on the nose!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, thankyou!
Wow guys! What an amazing experience! I would’ve been super nervous being close to an active crater 🙈 very cool that you got to swim around the volcano!
First impressions: Incredible! It's looking so amazing everywhere indeed, you are so right feeling that way. I had no idea about the Nea Kameni island, seeing an active volcano must be exciting! What a wonderful adventure! BTW It would be so awesome to do some horseback riding in Santorini 😍
Wow, just loved the look of the hot springs and playing with the mud fountain of youth! Another awesome look at Greece, you're making it quickly climb up our list of places we'd love to see!!!
Just found you guys. Love the way you guys are living life outside the box. My daughter turned 18 and decided to take a year off and have been travelling the last 6 months. She also has a similar idea in life.
We would definitely choose the wiggly path too! You two were so close to the active vent! I feel like we would have a similar situation..Skylar would buy the tickets to the active volcano and not tell me until we got there 😆 The hot springs experience looked so amazing.
Just found you guys on YT and as a Greece fanatic, I am absolutely loving all your videos! Last visited Santorini in 1991 and thought it had become too commercial now, but having seen this, I will definitely be making a return visit...out of the main tourist season of course :) ! Thank you - you guys rock!
Thank you, yes Santorini is a place that I always wanted to see but felt it would be overwhelming. I feel incredibly lucky that we got to spend so long seeing it in such a beautiful quiet way, highly recommend a November/early December visit, temperatures were lovely!
This makes me reminiscent about my trip to Santorini. We did the funicular up to the city and took the stairs down. We were on a cruise and so many people were in town and those donkeys were so aggressive going up and down those steps. If you were in the way they'd run you over haha. Seemed like a great day exploring.
Those donkeys definitely own those steps! At 21:58 Kirsty nearly gets taken out by a donkey as she stops to see the puppy. A trail of donkeys coming towards you makes you move quick! 🤣
I happen to like the aroma of sulphur and the yellowish hue on the steak really gives it the "I wanted the stinch of rotten eggs without the eggs" appeal. I'll save you a reservation at H2(SO)4 Paradise. :-) It's like a spa-steakhouse-volcanic deathtrap all in one. Great for that special person you need to have whacked.
That may be the most picturesque wiggly...wait, cute doggies interrupting my train of thought...path on the planet. The blues there. Wow. Pirate ship. Yarrrrr.
No we just had our snorkels with us, you don't need them though as there's no marine life to see in the water, you just swim across. They did have some noodles for anyone that needed one to help with swimming.
It’s about a 50m swim from where you see us jump off the boat. Pretty sure they did have noodles as I saw some people with them (but I don’t know if they brought them with). Enjoy, it’s a fab trip! 😊
Hey my fiance and I are planning to go here over the end of Nov 2022. But could someone confirm if it will be open for the winter? And do they have any support for non-swimmers to get across to the thermal pool?
This was filmed in November so the tours definitely run at that time of year. Also some of them offer noodles to help those who can’t swim so well but it’s best to check with them when you book. Enjoy it’s a beautiful place! ☺️
Thanks so much for watching you lovely people!😊

We had so much fun with the mud! Hope you guys are jumping off boats real soon!💦
Have you considered the (relatively) safer Kilauea? You could still jump into the ocean somewhere away from it.
Great experience visiting the volcano island!!!
It was such a fun trip, thanks for watching! 😊

I loved that the boat looked so authentic like a pirate ship! 🏴☠️
Wonderful video lovely smiling faces fully happy! Thank you so much indeed for sharing 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you! Greek sunshine definitely has that effect! 😎

We needed the mud facial to wind back the stress of covid😅

Wow guys! What an amazing experience! I would’ve been super nervous being close to an active crater 🙈 very cool that you got to swim around the volcano!
It was a bit unnerving seeing it smoking away😅 it was so warm swimming in volcanic heated water though☺️
Now that’s a hot tub!!!
It was the best hot tub! 🤩

The volcano was really cool to see up close, it’s fascinating to see how it has created and shaped the land.
Beautiful
Fantastic video. It’s changed so much since I was last there. Remember climbing up to the top from the harbour. All 650 steps!
Those steps do keep going on forever! We got overtaken a few times by some donkeys who made it look so easy😅
Thank for the video, and congratulations on your travels, I like the details information of the videos ,,,,
Thank you 😊

I have got to remember to research before I agree to these things! 😂

It’s a beautiful and unique little place, glad you both enjoyed it.
Such a good job thank you so much
Thank you! We're glad you like it ☺
12:20 Sea water at 14°C? I feel another Baltic Plunge coming up 😝
14°C definitely didn’t feel too bad in comparison to the Baltic plunge! 🥶😂
That was awesome! Congrats on this GREAT video! Where did you buy the tickets? Thank you!
We’re glad you enjoyed it. We bought the tickets from an excursions place in Thira.
very nice tour , Thank you for sharing , best wishes , be safe and i hope to see you around if you care about Jordan and Petra ,
Thank you, we would love to visit there some day when restrictions ease ☺

Yeah, don’t cool BBQ over that volcano smoke.
Wow!!
Yeh definitely wouldn’t be trying that, it did not smell good😂

7:40 Suddenly the Kaali meteor crater on Saaremaa does not look so impressive 😂
😂 Kaali will forever be our first meteor crater experience!
What time of year was this video shot? Weather looks pleasant but not too hot.
This was filmed at the very end of October. You’re right, the weather was just lovely 😊
This looks super fun! Where did you book the tour package for the volcano ?
We booked it in Thira from a local shop. They sell them in a few places there ☺️
That may be the most picturesque wiggly...wait, cute doggies interrupting my train of thought...path on the planet.
The blues there. Wow.
Pirate ship. Yarrrrr.
It’s just beauty and cuteness everywhere you look in Santorini!
How long is the walk from the boat to the top of the volcano
about 20 minutes but you stop along the way to listen to the tour guide.
🤗🤗🤗😘😘😘
Thanks for the love 💓🤗🥰
15:26 Remember the part in Dante's Peak where the people jump into a hot spring and get boiled alive? You're welcome. Oh and visit Santorini.
Hi were u provided with the breathing equipment when swimming to the thermal springs or did you take your own?
No we just had our snorkels with us, you don't need them though as there's no marine life to see in the water, you just swim across. They did have some noodles for anyone that needed one to help with swimming.
I’ll be there in a few weeks! It looks beautiful. Was the swim to hot springs far? Do they have noodles to use if you get tired swimming?
It’s about a 50m swim from where you see us jump off the boat. Pretty sure they did have noodles as I saw some people with them (but I don’t know if they brought them with). Enjoy, it’s a fab trip! 😊
Hey guys which boat service did you use ?
We booked it at a small office in Imerovigli it's shown in the video but we never actually got the name sorry!
When was this trip? Was it cold?
It was filmed in November, the temperature was in the low to mid 20's it was lovely!
😍💙
Is this video after the pandmic?
It was filmed in October 2020 🙂
nice video guys, came to check it out and stay to follow along, new friend here, keep in touch my fellow travelers.
Thank you and safe travels to you! 😊
