CORRECTION: The blue switch is APEM 5636, made by a French company and NOT a Taiwan-made switch as I wrongly mention on the video. My apologies for the mistake.
Hi Fenix, The sticker decal is part of the download package, you just have to print them yourself :) For physical (premium) orders however, the label is made of 2mm black engraved acrylic.
I love your videos, so can you maybe do the parking brake lift function and maybe a "knob" for radio panels. The abuse one*. It would be very helpful. Keep up the work😊
I bought the Aliexpress version. I printed the 2 STL versions but the switch hole is too narrow and the switch head doesn't fit. What can I do? Thank you.
Hi Alessandro, would you be able to measure the switch cap in mm? I can probably make a model with your hole measurement. Please email me at santiagoluib3@gmail.com
i still cannot find the right spring. The spiral type is not very effective because there's only about 3mm of space to work with. I'm looking for those plate type pressure springs, something like Brass Shing material.
Hi Luca! What do you mean by not fitting the three holes? Are those the 3-pins switch variants you bought? Are the pins spaced differently (which I doubt as these switches have standard pin spacing). Is it because the pins are larger (they have holes in the middle). If so you just need to pinch the pins so they can squeeze through the circuit board holes. Please email me so we can discuss details and I can further help you :)
Hey, love these mods!!! Really great stuff. How do I take off the cover? I have it all the way to the throttles but those seem to be in the way of pulling the cover off and I can’t figure out how to get them off
Hi Tristan. There are tiny metal pins that hold the original ENG1/ENG2 handles. You have to push them out using a small rod, then pull of the handles. Please email me for details at santiagoluib3@gmail.com :)
@@santiagoluib3 Awesome! Thanks a bunch, I got them out and got one of the switches soldered. It doesn't seem to work, but I had a bad time desoldering the original so I think I might have broken some traces... I new I was being a bit hasty...
Hi @shredder8910 Sorry to hear that. The connections on the board under these switches can be a little too sensitive with overheating. So in the process of desoldering you may have overheated the holes and lost the circuit connection. Get a good, powerful solder "sucker" and add more tin into the solder while melted to easily suck the rest dry! I should have mentioned this in the video :(
@@santiagoluib3 No problem friend! What's some tinkering without some accidents every once in awhile 😂all in the name of the game. Really appreciate all your stuff on these throttles, i've purchased some of the STLs and they've been an amazing game changer for these to turn them into real serious sim hardware. 💖
Your attention to detail is second to none Santi. Thank you so much for your step by step video.

Hi, is this engine 1 and engine 2 lettering an sticker. if yes is there also a sticker for 2 and 3?

This man is an absolute legend.
Great mod. I think once my switches start to get faulty, I'll do the mod

Hi Santi, this is awesome. For the colour, you could try the Sunlu Silk Silver PLA+, it's amazing and when printed it is really silvery 🙂
Hi Stefano, thank you for the tip. Will give it a try if I get my hands on those 👍👍
Hi Santi,
Ive been trying to get the metal pins put but they seem to be stuck in. Any suggestions how to get the out?
Fantastic work, once again sir!

Great mod, well done!
Hi, just curious. How is it going with the parking brake upgrade? Any update already on what spring or material we have to use? Thx

Hello, if there is a way of shipping to poland? i would be really pleased
Hey Santi,
I just bought the switches from Aliexpress, but the contacts did not fit through the three holes of the board :-(

I would buy form you but your shipping charges are too high to Canada. Great job though
Great work again!

Thank you for the kind words @@shredder8910 . I'm glad those STL files worked for you :)
Hello, I really want to purchase your amazing creations, can you start shipping to Estonia also?
Thanks for your nice Mods. But the first Link for the switch did not work.
Hi, sorry for this very late reply. Have you found the switch in the other link? I tried the first link and it works just fine :)
hi, where can I buy the engine switches?
Hi, the links are in the video description :)
I don't have a 3d printer to build the ENG master @@santiagoluib3
