Great video, I am seriously close to purchasing a new detector but I was recently put off the idea due to the Swiss rules on prospecting. Do you happen to know who to contact in the Canton Geneva area to apply for a permit? And is it even allowed here?

Thank you my friend. I found an interesting bunker with another filled in bunker underneath it. Or maybe just an escape tunnel. Might be worth a dig to see what is hidden there

Do I need to have some sort of a license in order to walk with metal detextor in swiss?
Every canton has different rules. And yes all need a license. It is the land of rules. If you need any advice just let me know

I live in Switzerland Aarau, and getting a detector in the next few weeks, did you need to get permission or a permit? to detect there. I can!t find any info locally

These are the two places you should be able to get information from. It is legal to detect there but there may be a waiting list. If you need more help I am happy to drop them a message
Quick question bro, did you get a permission document to detect in Switzerland? Because I started detecting and 1 hour in I got in trouble with some dude on a bycicle who told me I needed permission and my actions could be fined up to 10.000 Swiss francs :(
Absolutely. They take things very seriously here in Switzerland. I am fully licensed here from an archaeology department. And everything older than 1850 I have to give to them. Tough rules here
As a person who was born and raised in Switzerland: Switzerland always has weird and very strict rules. It’s honestly extremely annoying. I feel like I can’t do anything here that’s fun and doesn’t get me in trouble
