YES... I agree. I found a 1 ounce Gold nugget in Australia 18 Inches down with a Whites 6000 Di Pro. And $193 in Coins at my Local Park in 90 Minutes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND older Whites Metal Detectors.
Any detector with a built in battery isn't worth going bush with. I'd put 4 other minelab units before the rest. First one looked like a $40 kmart kid's toy. Maybe your list was really for entry level machines.
