I kinda hate the afterimage thing they put in super, goku was doing afterimage in the original dragon ball series, this is nothing new but people are treating it like it is, which is a little weird considering the afterimage technique was one of his signature skills at the time.

For all 3 ultimates to actually connect you need to do them from different angles so one person should be on his left , one should be on his right and one should be in front of him like you did with Piccolo, it maximises the damage
