Just love this, and Deen! He sounds similar to Steve Perry without “copying” him or sounding karaoke. He has his own style and puts his own spin on the songs….so great!
I don’t know how long you’ll get to keep this up… but it will hopefully show how people need to buy this show to watch. :) I listened to this with headphones on the plane on the way back from the Journey concert in Laughlin. It was one of the most moving experiences hearing it that way. (And Mystery Mountain is a great song to listen to while taking off.) 😊

Exactly. We 😊have to hear don't stop believin' for the millionth time at every concert because the fake fans… The ones that think Arnel was Perry's replacement because they don't do their homework… Demand to hear it so they can sing along badly with it.
I'm so glad Dean is still part of Journey. He seems like such a nice guy. He might not be the perfect Journey frontman but he is perfect as the drummer and backup singer.
Deen has a wonderful voice in his own right. Not fair to compare him to Steve Perry; they were different. What’s amazing is to watch Deen drumming and singing lead on some older concerts with Journey.
If it wasn't for Steve Perry, Journey would still be nothing. Neal Schon does his best to have everyone believe he is the be all. If it wasn't for Herbie Herbert changing the course of the original Journey, Neal would be relegated to a back burner. That said, Dean does an amazing job.
Steve Perry's vocals, undeniably, were a huge reason Journey enjoyed the success they did, but Neal's amazing guitar playing (and writing) were also a big part of that success. There are a lot of classic, iconic guitar riffs, that make Journey songs instantly recognizable, like Wheel In The Sky, Lights, Chain Reaction, and many others. Neal might have a big ego, but, like Steve Perry, he's irreplaceable.
