The very first LEGO Star Wars actually did have unlimited jetpacking for Jango Fett! I was always disappointed that they changed that for The Complete Saga. Granted, you could only hover over the ground and would inexplicably fall into any pits, but it was still cool and I liked that it was different from the astromechs.
On a similar note in the OG Lego Star Wars yoda had a hover chair you could use to move faster instead of the cane
@@duescaymania2940 Yoda's hover chair was excellent, and a nice detail from the films. I'd guess that they removed it because it would be weird for Yoda to have on Dagobah, but I still wish they'd've brought it back somehow.
@@peppermintshamrock For those reasons and differences in minikit locations, I consider LEGO Star Wars I and LEGO Star Wars II as separate games from LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. It makes me very sad that many people don't play them and that RuggedEagle excludes them from his videos for being overshadowed by Complete Saga. Seriously, the battles in Dexter's Diner were much more epic than the ones in the Cantina. Yoda's floating chair was much more elegant. It didn't have the hated Bounty Hunter Pursuit level. It had the funny "Whaaa" shout from the Royal Guards in the first level, which was completely removed in Complete Saga. What makes me happy is that Quick Brick Games gives a lot more content to the first two games.
@@faustoalvarezthepeashooter1955 If you're at all interested in any behind the scenes content, one of the developers of the original LEGO Star Wars game has a channel called GameHut and he has a few videos about deleted levels and prototypes from that game.

Decently sure the stone giants in the Hobbit are for the bonus million stud level, why they aren't in the roster, probably because they're just slightly taller than most big figs, or they just didn't want to ruin the illusion. Still good to mention them. Great video nonetheless!

Like all the missing characters from the roster or give the goons guns. I mean I know there vocabulary is limited to "Let's get them", but surely they know how to fire a gun. You only get that kind of challenge in the 3ds version, and the graphics are bad.

11:50 Lord Vortech was intended to get a fun pack for Lego Dimensions but was cut for reasons that either aren’t known or i forgot
It’s because he was meant to be apart of Year 3 for LEGO Dimensions. But Year 3 got cancelled because sales from Year 2 weren’t up to what TT and LEGO were hoping for in order to make Year 3 happen.
You should totally make a walk through on how to access characters from the game's files! Ot would be super helpful!

12:46 That isn't Pre Vizla, that is one of Maul's Super Commandos. Vizla and his Death Watch troops had blue armour, and after Maul kills him, his troops join Maul as per Mandalorian tradition and paint their armour red and black to honour him.

The stone giants are used in the 1000000 level, that is why they are ingame and have all working animations.
Why have we never had an official LEGO set of this Aragog design from the game? It looks way better than the ones we got in real life, plus releasing him as a UCS set would make him scale well with a Chamber of Secrets statue of young Hagrid or Tom Riddle.

I love your videos and lego games just played lego star wars with my brother today
I really enjoyed this video rugged! I knew there were a lot of secret characters ij the games, but i didnt know there was this much
Edit: Also, many of these characters were nevwr going to actually be playable, they just have models in the files that can be played. Most of the big bosses for example were never supposed to be played as. Also, i like the phantom voldemort much more than the regular one lol
Fun fact, the snake from Lego Indiana Jones was actually the original Lego Basilisk from the Harry Potter line of sets.
One time, I actually managed to do a very weird glitch when fighting the Snake Boss in the first Lego Indiana Jones. I remember that I tried to replicate it by falling into the pit just below the Snake Boss while it died or something like that.
After doing that, something really interesting happened: Indiana Jones' character icon (or whatever character I was playing as) appeared as the Snake Boss' icon. So both the player 1 icon and boss icon were Indiana Jones. I'm not sure if anybody knows of this glitch or not but I found it really interesting looking back and wanted to share it.

Keep it up with the great content! You got me back into playing Lego games, and I had the skywalker saga for a while, and only played one episode, I’m now more motivated to get 100%
This was a pretty cool video. I always appreciate people digging into games and pulling out their unused/hidden characters. I think it would have been good to make a distinction between unused characters and boss or generic enemies/npcs though. In the case of some of these, they aren't necessarily there because they were intended to be playable at one point. They are potentially only there out of necessity due to how the game engine handles characters.
Lego Dimensions does have unused characters, apparently, but there's no way to access them at the moment. Lord Vortech is one of these characters. I'll also mention that you can also load the Joker Bot final boss from Lego Batman 2 as a playable character, but it barely functions and just t-poses. Interesting enough though, you can stand on its shoulders as another character though.
Somebody please tell me how he got those characters.

A fun thing is that as a child I actually discovered like three glitches by accident in Lego marvel super heroes and looking back it’s amazing how I accidentally did these cuz some of them are quite complicated
Now im curious
I know this character is technically used in TCS in a few levels with extra toggle but I still wanted to include it just for how obscure it is. If I recall, on the Xbox 360 version of TCS, you could play as the Rancor boss from the "Jabba's Palace" level in one of the bonus levels. Despite the fact that he doesn't have any attacks and is pretty slow, he's invincible and looks pretty cool!
In fact, you can play as Rancor in any version of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga except the Nintendo DS, which I consider a completely new game like any handheld game that has a home console version. I was able to play with the Rancor in the PlayStation 3 version of the game, and the level where you can play with it is the Minikit Bonus from Episode I, named Tatooine. Before Complete Saga, we had a playable Baby Rancor in the Game Boy Advance version of LEGO Star Wars II, one of the exclusive characters in that version along with R2-Q5 (who would later be playable in Complete Saga). In LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the adult Rancor would become a regular playable character alongside Wampa, who was playable in LSW2 and LSWCS via Extra Toggle in the Episode V Minikit Bonus, named Hoth.
