Squirrel Girl is canonically one of the strongest characters in the comics, she was created to answer the question of who would beat who, and someone named “squirrel girl” was the funniest answer
The strangest Dimensions character was definitely Excalibur Batman. They wanted a Batman based on The Lego Batman Movie, but a regular Batman already came in the Starter Pack, and Robin and Batgirl came in the Story Pack, so they picked a random outfit from the movie that couldn't have had more than three seconds of screen time and gave it a Fun Pack with a bizarre robotic-looking horse.
i think the ACU guard is the weirdest one. I mean, at least Batman is a named character. The ACU is a generic, and doesn't even have artwork on the team pack, the raptor got art instead even they knew he was insignificant!
The Blacksmith is pretty strange in Lego Lord of the Rings. You can unlock him after making all the Mithril items, and it's strange to have a nameless extra playable in this game where pretty much everyone else has a name. Although as Rugged says, the strangest character in this game is slim pickings. It's a shame Peter Jackson isn't playable because if he was, it would definitely be him.
As someone who played LEGO Dimensions i can say the strangest character is Gamer Kid from the Midway Arcade dimension I didn't even knew what Midway was and it resulted to be a company that did classic arcade games like Rampage, Spy Hunter, even Mortal Kombat, and instead of using characters of those games they made Gamer Kid, a normal kid with the ability to gain powers like superspeed, invencibilty, become a giant, have laser eyes using soda cans, also he has 2 vehicles meaning he has a dedicated level where he has to prevent that the videogame characters escape an arcade, and his vehicles are the Spy Hunter car and an arcade machine, and he is the only character/vehicle that can access the arcade terminals where you play a Midway game Even with Homero Simpson, Jake the Dog, Doctor Who and even Sonic the Hedgehog i consider Gamer Kid to be the strangest

You should do a video ranking every lego games character roster as a whole. Like rank them based on how bad their worst characters are, how good their best characters are, and how many total characters their are. I also imagine If lets say a video game has 50 bad characters and 50 good characters and 100 average, it’d still probably be pretty high as even tho theirs 50/50 for both good and bad, the fact that theirs 50 good characters would outweigh the 50 bad ones as you could just simply not play them.
I remember looking everywhere for the luxury droid in the hub world as it was the last character I had to purchase before getting 100% completion and boy was I disappointed when I finally found it.
It's really strange they added him but Yeti does appear in the Mr. Freeze level, but not in person. His face is on the ice cream boxes. Really strange :/ Also I love Kai's theme from Kung Fu Panda and that I recognized it
Kathleen Kennedy in The Force Awakens is really accurate to how she is in real life, she's great at destroying things in the game like she destroyed Star Wars

Great Video. Personally I prefer New York from Lego Marvel superheros. I do have a lot of memories in Gotham but there's only so many places you can go in the open world. Lego Marvel superheros just had so many different places to explore and you weren't dealing with crime every 2 seconds while trying to get extra stuff.
Squirrel Girl's mech is canon, actually! Not only did she get an Iron Man armor set, she also had a bunch of squirrels form into a giant squirrel to fight crime.
If I remember right, the luxury droid can open C3P0 panels, but I'd say Starkiller is a stranger addition, because he is not in the OT movies or the Clone Wars show.
Just a thought but do you think one of the next Lego games could be a Lego Ninjago game? I know they are finishing up with the final season so maybe Tt games will have a game to send the show off

NYC in *LEGO Marvel 1* is FAR better than *LEGO Batman 2 Gotham.* Here's my list of grievances: 1. Flight mechanics in LB2 SUCKED if you had the Wii version, like me. 2. You don't have to "fly low over a bridge" to explore another 1/3 of the hub in LMSH1. 3. You couldn't explore Metropolis, even though 1 level took place there. All you got was Gotham. On an unrelated note, here's some notes I have on your character choices for this list. These are just my opinions, so please understand that I respect your decisions for these lists. I think there are far stranger characters in *LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 1* than Squirrel Girl. That's scraping the middle of the barrel if you didn't choose the literal Statue of Liberty or HERBIE. For *LEGO Avengers,* choosing Butterball kind of feels like cheating. I mean yeah, he's a character from the comics that has only showed up in an issue or two, but compare that to Beth the Waitress from some deleted scenes from the first Avengers movie, Fin Fang Foom, DEVIL FREAKING DINOSAUR or even OG Hulk TV show actor Lou Ferrigno. (Also I think I mentioned Forbush Man in a previous video's comment section, can't remember though lol)
It's interesting that you chose Doctor Doom to beat up because Squirrel Girl has canonically beat him before! She's remarkably powerful for a lady whose sidekick is a squirrel.
In Lego Batman 2 the strangest is The Flash's helmet P.S. Comparing New York City to Gotham City is like to compare Lego Skywalker Saga to Lego Movie 2. You can do this, but why?

I was literally thinking about which was better. New York or Gotham? I just replayed Lego Batman 2 and I’m now starting to replay Lego Marvel. And here’s my thoughts on the cities. For Gotham, I love the puzzles and the bosses everywhere. And New York has its own fair share of puzzles and bosses. However, Gotham lacks the liveliness of New York. In Gotham, everyone is running around like mad men. Rightfully so as they are being chased by mad men with hammers, pies, and whatnot. It is just chaotic, which makes sense. As for New York, I wish that goons or something would come after you like in Gotham. I liked that. Lastly, New York has so many lively npcs. They walk about, drive about, and literally comment on your character. Oh and the quests! So good! But I gotta say that it’s a tie. Gotham was the first, and it was awesome for what it was and still is. New York came out afterwards, and you could tell that there were major improvements. And so it’s a tie for me!
I prefer Gotham over New York because it's its own city. The only advantage that New York had was that you couldn't swim in the water. The other thing that makes the Janitor from LEGO Indiana Jones 2 so weird is how his appearance varies so much between the Console and Portable games.
