I appreciate how you take all elements of designing a transforming into consideration, like how you decided what to give up so that weight distribution is done well in all modes. You really put a lot of thought behind it. It makes me wonder if you happen to work for an engineering firm?
Interesting choice making the legs lighter for combined mode. For good figure stability, you usually want figures to have a low center of gravity (specifically weighted feet), so the figure is anchored to the ground while standing. Light legs present 2 possibilities to me: 1. This predaking is made with scramble city gimmick where the legs and arms can swap. In this case, legs and arms need to be about the same weight as to not make the figure excessively top heavy in one configuration. 2. You intend to make the combine mode hyper-articulate. You mentioned in the video that the compromises to these figures were for the combined mode, and light legs are easier for combined mode joints to carry in kicking and other one-footed poses. (3. I'm overthinking things)
While its true that weight in the legs can be a good thing, its only to a point. I didn't want the combined mode to feel floppy in hand, which means managing the weight of limbs. These two form legs and legs only, theres no scramble city stuff going on.
You mentioned the colors are plentiful, but toss in yellows and brown and you have Junkions. With their return, have you thought of making some, G1 or custom?

Can you make a 4 bot combiner? One becomes legs, another becomes torso, and two more become the arms. I found this idea from a Korean show called Tobot. It's got really cool combiners, you should check it out.
I won't firmly say I will or won't make g1 devastator, but the fact he's made out of two less available colours is definitely a major barrier to me making him.
I love the Berserker modes! They're a great use of the bits, better than the POTP foot cannons.

I'm studying engineering at Uiniversity
@@studentscissorscool
They kind of remind me of Bionicles with that color scheme.
I can't wait to see the rest of the team and the combine mode
They even have an ab crunch - amazing!
HOLY SHEESH PREDAKING IS MY MOST FAV COMBINER, IT WOULD BE AN HONOR TO SEE THIS GUY IN HIS FULL WRATH!
iv'e always loved headstong and tantrum. these look great
WOW GOOD JOB MAN LEGO NEED TO HIRE YOU🗿❤🔥👌👍
🗿
then we will get lego transformers at a nice scale instead of kreo transformers at weird scales
The arm cannons they have in berserker mode remind me of bayverse ironhide

I love the headsculpts !!!
we need the rest of them, we need to see Predeking!
Ooooo You finally make some combiner!
And I can't wait to see the end result :)))
These guys look great!
I appreciate your design, can you make G1 Defensor/Protectobots?
i'm so looking forward to seeing the rest of the team
The original predators. Nice!
pretty cook i really like predaking so im exited for this series
This is awesome! I love the anatomically accurate crotches 😂
I was making small predacims up until making razor claw, I still have dive bong mostly built
Jets or Cars. Yep. I saw Superion and Menasor there. And Headstrong's and Tantrum's "berserk" forms sound a little funny to me.
Predaking, cool
Tecnicalli they become the legs so if they are to skiny they can't support the combiner heavy waight. 😅😢
It's a balancing act between making them solid standing bases, but not too heavy that they flop around when handling the combined form.
You mentioned the colors are plentiful, but toss in yellows and brown and you have Junkions.

This man does what most dream of
Yo the torso in robot mode reminds me of mecha sonic from sonic 3
We're getting a combiner 🎉
NOW this is exciting
always good
Can you make jolt pls it will be awesome if you build him😊
Cool video
What can i do to get earth version for veloslice?
W Mocs 🗿🍷
Could you do bruticus next also love your videos
If they're the legs then shouldn't you want them to be heavy so you can a stable base?

Headstrong looks like he has flames for hair
When he said “it’s time to transform”, i got an ad about zaxbees
Great transformers
That awkward moment when you realize your hip is as flexible as a mixel joint
6:02 Sideways Elbow Action!!!!
I love u man 👍🏻

I remember tobot
They look like Bebop from tmnt
What about Bruticus, Menasor, Defensor and Superion?
When you make an autobot, combiner can it be Victorian or defensor?
Would G1 Devastator (as possibly your next combiner) be out of the question when considering parts count and colours?
I won't firmly say I will or won't make g1 devastator, but the fact he's made out of two less available colours is definitely a major barrier to me making him.
PREDAKING!!!!!!
yes a combiner
will student scissors ever become professor scissors
Day 7 of asking for predacon megatron
WE NEED RAMPAGE DIVEBOMB AND RAZORCLAW
Dang
Imagine dying to a robot with feet bullets
Dang not enough pieces 💀
Bguaaaaa is AMAZING but you catn make jazz movie
they give goku and vegeta vibes
Hi
