Google Pixel's evolution is insane. I still believe that the Pixel 6 lineup is what started their momentum so damn well. I have a great feeling that the Pixel 10 is gonna exceed expectations and Apple is slowly running out of ideas and copying these ideas from Android for years to come.
Pixel user myself over here - there are two incredible things that the Apple ecosystem has that I wish the Pixel had, but may struggle getting for a while. Airtags and their wireless Magsafe implementation. Quite disappointed with where Google's Find My service is. I can't use the web browser for any of the Android tags plus no UWB support yet. My Chipolo tags often struggle establishing a connection. Kinda frustrating. Magsafe - especially the part where the NFC chip in them remembers what your "display preferences" are for that specific Magsafe charger. I'd love something like that on Android, but I'm sure it's locked away behind patents and IP rights here. 🤷

Gemini Advanced should be free on Pixel phones like how the old phones had unlimited photo storage. They need that extra something to be competitive with Apple and Samsung and charge the same price.
I'm seriously considering switching from iPhone to the Pixel, I've had iPhones since the 7th generation. It's about time for a change and I like the stock android experience a lot better.
Ill stay with my 8 pro running amazingly....until the ten pro where i hear major changes are coming "under the hood".....also my phone gets all the updates the 9 will for the next 5 years allegedly. I'm not buying almost the same phone twice.
I am just waiting for reviews, including the camera reviews, to decide if I would want this phone. Otherwise I will be looking into the iPhone 16 line, specifically 16 Pro Max, after it comes out and reviews are out about it. Seeing how things are though, I might just wait till the next Galaxy line comes out and decide on one of the three devices then (also that way I can pay off my pixel 8 Pro so I can, either get trade-in credit or keep it as a backup device).

Can somebody compare scrolling performance on that device between Firefox and Chrome browsers? Stutters, frame drops, etc. (Firefox is unbearable on my Pixel 8 Pro, would like to know if there's an improvement on that part).
I think everybody sees when someone is bias with their reviews. Every time I see this reviewer post a review on a pixel phone it's talked about like it's trash. I feel like this reviewer is an iPhone fan. Would have a lot more credibility if they were unbiased in their review and if their view cannot be unbiased maybe skip over a review and don't do one at all would be a better option.
Yeah the 9 pro look ok to me , but yeah it’s a hard sell in my book coming from an 8 pro. I also think a lot of the AI stuff is very gimmicky. I just use the phone as a normal phone , I don’t see much value in the AI in my use , and 20 bucks a month for the privilege 😂😂😂😂 they can stick that right up where the sun doesn’t shine 😂.

The P8P brings a lot of hand fatigue after long use. And you're totally right about every 2 (or 3) year, upgrade cycles because after trading my P8P for the smaller P9P, 2 years later, Google will be on their second version of the tsmc chip and will have a lot of kinks worked out! So this upgrade was worth it to me. And the 9 series, in my opinion, is more beautiful than the 8 series (the 8 was beautiful as well).

The temperature sensor works great! And we use ours for our own temperature and to check our children's temperature pretty often and the results are very similar to some of the best thermometers out there. We travel a lot and are often out in nature with our children. It's really useful not having to carry an extra piece of gear. There are many other used as well. No it is not necessary for everyone. But since it's there, you can use it. And it works well! But if you're a heavy gamer and you don't want a temperature sensor on your phone, then the Pixel phone isn't for you. There are plenty other phones out there. Everything the Pixel phone does.... It does it well!

Lmao, sure, I have a 7 year old Samsung S8 and it is absolutely unsusable, battery lasts about 2 hours at most. And lots of apps don't works anymore because it uses Android 9
@@trilexiI have an S8+ to mate , yeah she don’t last too long on a 7.5 year old battery 😂, on the plus side , it charges to capacity super fast 😂. I have noticed on mine if the battery level is below 50% it is noticeably very very laggy, , charge to 100% or leave the charger plugged in and it runs much better . Clearly the old battery is having a nasty effect on it.

If you want bigger hardware updates, those will be coming with the Pixel 10 phones.

I had the pixel 8 pro and it worked fine and with them getting samsungs ultra sonic fingerprint reader I'm sure it will work like the s24.
It's not optical sensor ,so it should work very fast, probably the same sensor that is in s24 ultra

The temperature sensor works great! And we use ours for our own temperature and to check our children's temperature pretty often and the results are very similar to some of the best thermometers out there. We travel a lot and are often out in nature with our children. It's really useful not having to carry an extra piece of gear. There are many other used as well. No it is not necessary for everyone. I use it to check temperature of my skillet sometimes..but that's about it. A lidar scanner seems like better use of the space
