Omg laughed so hard at the casting of the demon part! Loved it looking forward to visiting Hofu one day and that beautiful temple! Can’t believe is over 1,000 years old 😱 being from the states is hard to imagine something being that old. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us to travel more! 💕
When I looked it up before going my mind was like *col, cool* but couldn't really register it. It's so incredible to know you walk the same lands as so many people have before!
i seriously can’t stress this enough, i’ve been here since day one and you have grown so much. from ur video editing, to youtube ideas, to camera quality, i love everything so much. i’m so grateful to experience japan with you through your videos! がんばって!❤️

Please keep expanding this style! I love love love the history Bits. Almost as much as I love your group dynamic. Its so wholesome to see the genuine excitement you all have for the world you are exploring ❤️
I have been following you for a year now. Love how your style grew. The quality of your videos, the bits of history/explanation I really appreciate it. Stay safe xx
Can I tell you how excited I was to see this new upload 🤩 I love this style: the overview really primed me to know what to expect, the cinematic shots get better and better and the fun facts are MY PERSONAL FAVE I LOVE FUN FACTS (is that very Gemini of me??) anyway thank you for sharing your trip with us!! loved this video a lot especially your Setsubun Situation HAHA it was so wholesome, and such a genuine interaction!!
You can go to the Meiji shrine in Tokyo and they have the same ceremony for dolls. Walking around and looking at the dolls is very spiritual, you feel the love, the dolls gave and received.
On Setsubun, you can throw beans out from your house even without devils, saying "Oni Wa Soto" or "Devil, get out!" and throw them into your rooms, saying "Fuku Wa Uchi" or "Good Fortune, come in!". And you eat the same amount of beans as your age. This is the Setsubun ceremony.
First time to come across your videos of Japan. I'm looking forward to going back now and watching your previous content! I think you say in the beginning you are traveling 1 hour to Hofu? I am in the stages of buying an old Japanese farmhouse in between Shunan and Hofu to renovate. Looking forward to seeing more of your journeys!
This video is goal! Thank you for sharing, and the shelves with the exposed potteries are fantastic! It would be so nice to get a tour of tour collection of potteries :)
Another beautiful video! I live in Boston and it still cold here... plus we are pretty much still lockdown... so it’s so nice to watch your videos... thank you🥰🥰🥰
A little late to watch but i still love the video! I just wanted to say how beautiful your sakura themed make up looks! It's amazing🤩 Do you remember how i said everything is grey in sweden? Well, it's white now. The snow came back and I'm not happy about that...😥 The shrines looks so beautiful too! I hope my upcoming chemistry, psychic and english test goes well! And the people at the restaurant was so sweet 🥺 sweden could never!
Aaawww that was fun!!! I’ve seen the Setsubun ritual else where in Kimono Mom’s RUclips channel recently and in Terrace House. Looks so much fun!! And I think I’ve been caught on camera by local news teams a bunch of times too here at home 😅
I was going to say how peaceful and awesome the temple looks (and I can't believe it is that old! I can't get my head around those years) but then, the dolls! They look beautiful and everything, but I've seen too many scary movies! 😅😅
@@Christina.Lunaa7 In the video I'll be sharing I'm doing an unboxing.. however I'll definitely discuss what I don't like about it for vlogging!!! I'm also still using my Canon GZx (I look like a crasy person, lol)
