I actually appreciate the way you explain each class even though you had seemed biased to the tankish type of characters over the glass cannons and fast-paced ones. I appreciate the fact that you didn't immediately just say the classes that you don't like simply suck. For once I heard someone explain it the fair and detailed way versus being against the classes that you just don't like or didn't play much of. I was a first timer to your channel and I enjoyed the content.
I love Airship Syndicate's visual style to death, loved BattleChasers and no regrets backing it, heard good stuff about Ruined King and DS:Genesis, but I can't say I'm not concerned by them going the live service route, and for a looter RPG of all things. What I've seen of Wayfinder so far looks truely insane when it comes to art direction but I can't say the gameplay and game systems have been super engaging so far :x
NISS is the one im doing in this EA, im kind of bummed out that i have to wait in a long q, now that q works lol, but it is EA and this is what we get right... this game is pretty cool, hope they make their team bigger and developed this game a lot more they do have something good here.
I'm curious about whether there will be any way to see the actual numbers on the crit stats and defence stats. Like how big % chance is x amount of crit rate, how much crit damage is x amount of crit power. Same can be said for phys and mag defence, how big of a damage resistance % does having x amount of defence give. These are all rather important bits of information for the player to know when buildcrafting and deciding how much of each stat they wish to aim for. I've only gotten about an hour or so of game time so far, but in that short timeframe I wasn't able to find a way to see the percentages I'm looking for, hopefully they're just hidden away somewhere, and if they're not in the game, the devs add them as soon as possible.

im amazed that u have been able to play enough to have all wayfinders to lvl 30 ive got 4.5 hours in the game so far and that all at the main menu with 19k queue and then when it finally finishes and says the game will start soon i just sit there looking at spinning wheel for another 2 hours. spend $150 on the game and now i cant even refund it cause ive played it for more than 4 hours such a great game the menu is amazing cant wait to see what the rest of the game looks like
I actually wouldn't recommend you play Niss with a ranged weapon. The way her abilities synergize are heavily favored by using a melee weapon. I've met several people that go sword and board Niss or Two handed. It seems to work pretty well you are basically sacrificing damage by going with ranged attacks. It's fine if you want to do that but it will be less efficient.
You can choose one of three starting characters, but choosing one means you forgo the other two until you can obtain them later. There's a swordsman, a duelist, and a shooter; interestingly, two males and one female. The chosen character wakes up inside enemy territory with a voice in their head, telling them to follow her instructions. The character seems to have memory loss, their level cap is 30, they each have a permanent set of 4 abilities with one ultimate, can wield any weapon but have their own signature weapons, and they take orders from a mysterious voice of a woman who guides the character to safety. On their way out of enemy territory, the voice tells them how to fight. They use this knowledge to fight random enemies until they meet a boss. After defeating the boss, they use some kind of travel module to take them to town. Sounds awfully familiar, minus the lack of an annoying AI who has a talent for making cringe-worthy jokes.
So far this game is only crash simulator. After many attempts to log in, I was lucky few times, unfortunately couldn't even finish tutorial because game crashed. Now I'm crashing on loading screen. PS5 btw
Very engaging. Enemies have lots of variety in attacks. Movement and abilities. You can't just stand there and smash buttons later on. Around level 10 the game picks up in difficulty and you have to pay attention. Enemies also have weak points you should hit to cause them to be stunned.
Unless you are a pure tank or a healer every single character needs weapon power ability power crit rating and crit power if you don't take crit ur losing out on a huge amount of dps if you only take weapon power you will lose out on ability dmg if you only take weapon power you lose out on ability dmg...
Wanted to get into and make videos of the game. But with the way my life is and work. It's gonna be slow sadly. So might try later. All the characters look cool.

Damn, it’d be cool if I could be the big, buff barbarian without being gender locked. Or if the Paladin archetype didn’t have to be the big buff dude. It’s just such an obvious design flaw in a shared social space style game.
The fact that you’ve been so silent about the many issues this game has had since launch into early access, primarily the silence around the server issues that literally makes the game unplayable for most, really hurts your credibility as a reviewer and content creator in my eyes. Especially after how honest and transparent you were about the performance issues in Wild Heart, it hurts to see one of the few CC’s I trusted for these type of things showing how little they truly care about their viewers’ time and dollars
My prediction is this game will be a cash grab and fade into oblivion pretty quickly. People are saying "MMO launches are always bad and have issues". Well why didn't they just put servers up f2p for 2 weeks or so and see how their servers did. Then after that period of time and servers are verified to be working, then fully open the early access and allow people to buy founders packs. Instead they let people buy packs right at the start and now people can't login and they're mad because they spent up to 150$ (yikes), of course they're agitated. I bought the 20$ early access and have already requested a refund. I got in for a bit and honestly this game reads like a hollow MMO, the type where once you get further into it there's just not much there. They've already said the zones are not that big, so most likely just instanced content. The skills seem generic too. They put up a roadmap for future features while their servers are down? lol That's a major trick out of Activision's book, if things are bad..just distract them with smoke and mirrors and try to rebuild hype. There's lots of red flags here for a cash grab, up to 150$ for an early access game? If you're exceeding Activision (Diablo 4) premium package bundles...as a smaller studio...with no experience designing this style of game...that's a red flag. I've been burned too many times by pre-purchase/early access games that are underbaked. Welcome to modern gaming folks. *Buyer beware*
Pretty sure you're going to need to break out the clown mask for this one. You gave D4 hell, but this x100 worse from a just being able to play / monetization standpoint
This game is boring. I really tried to like it but it is damned tedious and easy enough for a cat to play it. They should replace the difficulty settings with an enemy health bar slider because fighting every enemy in the game feels exactly the same. Thank god armored core is out tonite.

Honestly I found the best wayfinder was Silo because I was actually able to stay in the game without it crashing.

I haven’t, that would have been impossible, this was from an earlier access where they let me try out max level characters.

Since they fixed the servers I have been having a blast. It's so much fun.
