This swell was in memory of Marcio 'Mad Dog' Freire who recently passed away surfing in Nazaré, Portugal. Marcio along with fellow brazilians Yuri Soledad, and Danilo Couto were pioneers when it came to paddle in surfing at Jaws. He was a huge inspiration for many.

Love this so much. I was there that day flying around with my air 2s and got some footage I really love but I didn't wanna try getting anywhere near as close in as you are in these shots. It was my favorite part of the trip and by far the coolest thing I've ever filmed.

Hey just an idea for a song for your next big edit- Greta Van Fleet: Stardust Chords.
I just think that would be great for a big wave edit and it fits nicely with your good taste in music.
Does anyone else notice the blue board come out of nowhere 2:07 - 2:09 into this? Deep in the foam.
