A new storytime! I hope you guys like it! I wanna know your thoughts, so leave me a comment! ❤ Also sorry for the wait with this video, I got sick and am still recovering atm! >
Any adult getting that mad at a literal child for such a pathetic reason, and especially going so far as to say they look stupid, should be terribly ashamed of themselves.
Also unprofessional that they didn't even tell her what the costume was going to be or if she was comfortable wearing it! I've been in a few shows and the directors have always asked the actors if they were comfortable wearing any revealing outfits for doing certain scenes months before the show. I had a similar situation with a dress and I was allowed to wear something underneath.
New experiences can often be intimidating. You were willing enough to try musical theater and that’s what matters in the end. For the record, your singing is fantastic. Your covers and ASMR videos prove that. 💙
i did one stage play and looking back my performance is probably the most embarassing thing that has ever happened in my life. also, it is horrible organization to show the costumes on the day of the performance, that shouldn't be the case. and the teacher clearly didn't help the situation. but anyway, the production quality of the videos just keeps getting better and your art is still as cute as ever. have a nice day
This made me think back to my worst school memory. I ended up botching a singing audition I had in my theater class for a musical called Big Fish. I was auditioning for the lead role, and I was attempting to sing the opening song. But I was so frozen with stage fright that I could barely sing it without sounding like I was being helped at knife point. I could act in the class, but when it came to singing, I couldn’t do it to save my life in front of an audience. I like singing, but I’m only comfortable doing it when I’m alone. I even practiced singing that sing in my room for two weeks, and even got a heart felt pep talk from my dad and brother, and even then, I still botched the audition and sounded like voice cracking every second. I didn’t even get in the show.
Those two girls in the beginning must be actual devils I mean they basically gave you the most insane backwards compliment of “your perfect for this role” and that role being a character who sucks at singing
This reminds of my school’s musical. My classmates didn’t seem to care enough to at least hold auditions; they just picked the students they wanted for the roles. The two they picked for the lead roles were terrible singers. Our musical was trash, at least in my opinion. Our musical actually won the most awards in the school, so I’m not sure if my school teachers were uncultured or just brain dead. It’s good that the current music teacher I have seems to know so much about music, and is even familiar with opera.
I agree you with theathre school disaster, I was in many school party celebrating like christmas holiday party and singed songs with others, on the start it really tensed of me but when I've singed many times with my friends it came so familiar for me I didin't scare appereance anymore I actually like it singing with my friends when our teacher played on Piano. Sometimes School theater is a disaster but sometimes it's really nice and are good memories of childhood when you're was in a school. High School musicals are one of best Disney shows. Wolfychu I missed your videos for a lomg time, thank you for uploaded this video what made my day feel a little better, that video was good. 🏫🎹🎸🥁🎼😳💃🏻🐺🎤🎶💙🤍
This reminded me of an old memory where I was in a choir and minutes before I ripped a small whole in the front of my pants and one of my jacket buttons fell off, luckily I was in the back so no one noticed.
That's awesome Wolfy! You're doing great and I know you will keep on getting better. I wish I had done that earlier in life. As someone's who usually shy to talk to people, it took me until getting a job where I had to talk to people to basically "sink or swim".
Man I’d be terrible at theatre. Too nervous and shy, plus I can’t sing, so ain’t for me. Well done for doing your best, lovely art and animation once again. 💙🤍
When I was a kid, I suffered from stage fright too, to the point where I botched my turn at a piano recital so badly that I ran off the stage once I finished in embarrassment and never touched a piano again for years.
WOW WOLFY YOU ARE SO BRAVE 😭I’m an extrovert but I have the biggest stage fright and even anxiety. So you’re a really cool person to me. Also teachers who behave like that are awful😞I’m so sorry she berated you like that…I fully relate
I generally have Stage fright too hence why I hated debate class or presentations. Eventually that feeling started dying to me when I realized almost everyone has stage fright or hates speaking in front of others and if that was the case it was just easier to go up get it done and stop caring since I no longer saw the stress of it. Of course now the stress that gets me when I’m up there and my heart beating fast is making sure I say the right things up there. Having to think of my speech constantly in my head till I got it memorized when I’m eventually go up there, cause I cannot make up a speech on the spot or I will constantly stutter along with awkward silence, so many times. In terms of performance I do better, as a high schooler in choir I sang all the time and there’s no stress when you’re singing with so many people by your side. I felt that a solo role wouldn’t be that bad if it ever happened. And low and behold that day came when I got my first solo role……..with so much INCREDIBLE amount of pressure. What amped up the pressure you may ask, well I got my first solo ever which was slightly challenging my stage fright but I knew I could do it, but nope it went from 0 to 100 so fast when it was announced our performance would be live on TV since we were celebrating a specific event that I don’t want to go into details cause it specifically relates to my school. So yes the first time I ever got a solo in choir and I had to not only sing alone in front of a fully packed auditorium but also 100s to thousands of people that were potentially watching. How did I do you may ask……..actually I pulled off pretty successfully which was nice but the massive amount of stress in that moment got me sick the next day which sucked. Lol 😂
Nice job with this video. As a theatre person myself, there were some troubles I remember having to deal with. A person was delayed getting dressed and I was just waiting and waiting for the person to come out. I just stalled for something that had nothing to do with the plot. Then the person came out and then the play continued
reminds me of how everyone was on this high-school music kick n school and I wasn't having that.i avoided getting into musical/theater stuff. Was shy and introverted af and the idea of preforming on stage sounded atm terrifying and humiliating/embarrassing. Nvr did get the appeal of musicals and always thought of em as Boring or dumb.
WOLFYCHU STORYTIME!!!! I MISSED THEM!!! Each new video, you just keep getting better and better, and it's just breathtaking seeing how much you improve in so little time, which I'm very happy to see!!
I give you tons of credit for even trying to do stage stuff! When you're as shy as you & I are, that's like asking a person who's afraid of heights to skydive! 😱
Going on a school stage is uncomfortable and embarrassing for beginners and as an expert at stages, it wouldn’t matter and you would get used to it if you are well trained at not being nervous and uncomfortable and I am glad your back with the new video btw! 😌
That remind me a lot about my era of doing school stages during my elementary school. I was really determined, to get main roles and push hard. My most important one for me at the time was the one at 5th grade, sadly this school was closed down from student quantityn and I wanted to end stuff with a bang, same goes to my single year at 6th grade I knew is my only year here but tried to pull a proper end despite my rocky year within said school, but after this middle school and onward I was done with this mostly to focus on keep my time for studies and rooting my new place
Your art is SO adorable wolfy and you are so innocent you are like a literal wolf angel (also I am a firm believer that everyone should be whoever they want and do whatever they want as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone then you should be able to do and be what makes you happy)
I remember what it was like to have stage fright when i did musical plays. I think there was a time i almost backed out of a play cause i was very nervous and scared to be in it, but i always had this weird sudden burst of confidence that just comes out of nowhere like if i didnt know what fear was. Im sure glad i had that cause if i didnt i would have miss a great opportunity to show off my amazing dancing skills.
I'm so happy that you're still making these beautiful videos. You are a part of my childhood, because I have already graduated from school and am studying at the university I always liked your style and I used to watch voiceovers from others because I didn't know English. But now I'm looking at the original right away. You are very sweet and brave, because you try new things and it helps me to cope with many things. I hope your creativity will continue to develop. I love you and thank you
That is relatable. There were times I was able to rehearse and be in a play/musical. Let's just say my experiences were completely awkward. Though other times I just chickened out. Great job for being persistent and never giving up Wolfychu. 👍
Oh dear. I remember doing shows as a kid. I never had stage fright, but I was slightly dense. I wanted to go to a specific place on stage, where my teacher told me what I was doing. Another time I remember being slightly too energetic whole singing. Looking back at it, I feel slight embarassment and cringe. 😅
Hey Wolfy loved the story. I feel the burning shyness you must have felt as I did karaoke at my old job and I'm really shy myself. But you have progressed so far though, your last song could easily be a Spotify chart track and I was inspired to start because of it... just haven't got time rn 😅
I love theater. I'm from the uk, and I've taken drama as a gcse it's incredibly fun. There's not much singing nor dancing wbut mostly acting improvisation and scriptwork. I don't really get stage fright when I act in a group but when I'm alone I tend to stutter and forget my lines
EY Wolfychu! I love how your art has improved so much, the colouring, everything looks great, as well as you speak so much more confidently now. Great video as well!
I'm starting to feel like the sensation of stage fright doesn't just apply to an actual physical stage anymore. You can feel "stage fright" putting myself out there online or in social situations (myself included)
I love the Hairspray musical. Fun Fact: It was originally a movie by John Waters. Plus, you had a very cutesy voice that is perfect for certain anime songs. Maybe if you can, probably record an album with Jordan Sweeto as your producer, and I might write a few songs instrumentally. Not sure if you two are still together, but if you two are, I wish you both the best.
Clique-y. Yeah... that happens when something is very popular... or other stuff that's lesser known but has a good following. It takes courage to step onto a stage and try to sing or act in a play or competition. It's admirable that you went through with theatre school in the first place.
Really interesting to see your background in acting and singing wolfy! I think you have a wonderful singing voice and I hope you continue to hone your skills!
It is clear that you hit snags every step of the way, leading to the art you do now. It is possibly, because of these snags, that you grow stronger. Even if I don't achieve my own dreams, I can try to swallow my envy and try to live vicariously through creators, like you.
I’m currently a spot op at my school play but I’m gonna addition for a roll in the spring play because I want to experience that feeling of accomplishment when I finally get out there and do it!
Hello wolfy. I won't know if you'll see this but a mobile game company has been using one of your shorts in their ads. It's the one where someones behind you with the clothes. The games called "Left or right: dress up" I've seen the ads on RUclips shorts. If you see this id try to sue or get the game taken down. Anyone else who sees this please try to spread awareness. Thanks for reading and sorry for the long comment. Love your vids! :D
When I was a kid I was given the chance to try auditioning for something, can’t remember what it was anymore, but I was gonna sing a sea shanty from Pippi Longstocking (this is in Sweden). I trained at home with my mother and it went pretty well, until the day arrived when after singing once they asked me if I could act seasick while singing as well. Now I’m the type of person who prefers to know beforehand what I’m supposed to do, so when they asked me to do something that I was not informed to do aside from singing, I just flat out refused and left with my mother. Pretty sure it was my mother who convinced me to try, but she didn’t check if I had to do anything else aside from singing.
How on earth were you supposed to know about the dress thing if she just threw it on you like that? 😠 It gives me a happy that you're over there with 3 million subscribers wanting to watch your stuff while they're probably stuck in a job they don't like cause they're horrible people nobody wants to work with. She who laughs last, laughs longest Wolfychu. Your toons are fantastic!
It's awesome that for better or worse, you still pulled through in the end. Every school project that I've had to do that involved me being front, center, and alone ended with the teacher/professor pulling me, because I would freeze up and apparently cuss under my breath like crazy trying to push through lines whilst clearly panicking.
I know that feeling, i got involved in a school theatre performance, twice, as the main role, without my consent, but i got through it, i even sang on stage 3 times, 1 being when i had a broken leg, needless to say, it made me brave enough to make my own RUclips content (sorry for self-promo there)
Happy to see your videos! I can relate to the stage freight since I’ve had it mostly when growing up but I think I’ve grown a little more confident in myself from my family and friends. In my old school we sang a song together on stage and the parents were invited.
I think I've been in 8 different musicals(?) Although a few times was just as a dancer. But during college I managed to snatch a few good roles, including Toulouse from Moulin Rouge, Zazu from The Lion King, and even got the lead role as Peter Pan (which is one of my all time favorite stories!). But when I had to go to an actual real audition at an amateur theater, I was a nerve wreck! I hadn't sung a solo in front of a crowd, since my Senior Year in college, which was also my very first time doing that (I was so nervous, but it went really well). And singing a pop song, is very different from singing a musical number.. I was auditioning for the first Danish production of Heathers, and sang 'Fight For Me'. I nailed the dance and monologue part, but I was very new to singing. My theater friend who was on the production team had encouraged me to go, since I thought there was no way a newbie like me would get a part. But I did it, and it went pretty ok. I didn't get a part, and they said my singing was still too weak (which was exactly why I wasn't sure to do it in the first place), but the judges said, that they were sad my singing wasn't better, because they really liked what they'd seen in the rest of the audition - which was a big confidence booster for sure! But despite the nerves I'm still glad I did it. I'm proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone, and I gained some really good experience from it!
"You may remember when a certain trilogy of musicals took over the world..." Those were very dark times. Seriously, you at least had more courage than I did; I took theater classes from middle school all the way into college, and never once had the guts to perform in front of people. Honestly, still don't, to an extent...
Watching those videos, I have the desire of being able to travel back in time and help your past you with all those problems and ansiety. 'One of the teachers started yelling at me and telling me I looked stupid, but then a mysterious boy came out of nowhere and dragged her away' something like that XD
Amazing story! Singing in front of a large audience can be intimating but at least you gave it your best! Not to mention you're amazing singing in Japanese :D
Yeah, doing theater can be difficult. I always stuck to doing stage crew because I was way too shy about performing. Also, you never know when you’re going to run into one of those theater kids who is just so full of themselves. Rare case, but still those type of people can ruin the fun of doing theater in an instant
I was recently in my school's musical as the Wicked Witch in Wizard of Oz (the only lead without a singing part, despite the fact that one of my really strong areas is singing on stage lol) and there was a scene where I had to throw a 'fireball' at the scarecrow. I got the fireball prop two rehearsals before opening night, and had to figure out how to hide it in my sleeve and throw it at the scarecrow from across the stage. I have terrible aim and on top of that I had to wear these gloves with acrylic nails glued to the end that made my grip terrible 😂 On the second night of performances I actually managed to throw the fireball off the stage on accident. At least it was only a small part of the show lol.
Another good vid by Wolfy! I took theater briefly, but my class never put on a play. Also Wolfy, you're awesome and your singing is beautiful. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I'm so sorry, Wolfy. While I grew into my stage strength over time, you had a lot of trouble with it. It's certainly a challenge to be composed on there. I get it.
A new storytime! I hope you guys like it! I wanna know your thoughts, so leave me a comment! ❤ Also sorry for the wait with this video, I got sick and am still recovering atm! >
You Cool!!! 👍👍👍😊😊😊
It's okay Wolfy! Hope you feel better!
Take your time wolfychu. We all get sick this way or another, your reasons are more than justified for hiatuses, the health come first
Get well soon Wolfy!
Kk!
The fact that you always tried to go on a stage despite how shy you were is very admirable. Love it!!!

Really interesting to see your background in acting and singing wolfy! I think you have a wonderful singing voice and I hope you continue to hone your skills!
It is clear that you hit snags every step of the way, leading to the art you do now. It is possibly, because of these snags, that you grow stronger.
Even if I don't achieve my own dreams, I can try to swallow my envy and try to live vicariously through creators, like you.
that teacher was awfulll, there's nothing wrong w accommodating yourself when you are uncomfortable
Wolfichus outfit designs are so cute!!❤
Cool story but sometimes we all made huge mistakes but sometimes we just forget it like we do not think about it
How on earth were you supposed to know about the dress thing if she just threw it on you like that? 😠 It gives me a happy that you're over there with 3 million subscribers wanting to watch your stuff while they're probably stuck in a job they don't like cause they're horrible people nobody wants to work with. She who laughs last, laughs longest Wolfychu. Your toons are fantastic!
It's awesome that for better or worse, you still pulled through in the end. Every school project that I've had to do that involved me being front, center, and alone ended with the teacher/professor pulling me, because I would freeze up and apparently cuss under my breath like crazy trying to push through lines whilst clearly panicking.
I know that feeling, i got involved in a school theatre performance, twice, as the main role, without my consent, but i got through it, i even sang on stage 3 times, 1 being when i had a broken leg, needless to say, it made me brave enough to make my own RUclips content (sorry for self-promo there)
When the world needed her most, she returned
I’m a theatre kid too and I still am!
Happy to see your videos! I can relate to the stage freight since I’ve had it mostly when growing up but I think I’ve grown a little more confident in myself from my family and friends. In my old school we sang a song together on stage and the parents were invited.
Poor Wolfychu that teacher didn’t have to yell at her
Everytime Wolfychu posts you know its going to be a good video.
Such an adorable voice. Must protect
Now we know how Wolfychu can sing so dang well!
Awesome work wolfychu bravo 👏
its always a good day when wolfy uploads :)
I wish you luck on your singing goals! Great Storytime!
Im just glad we have our beloved wolfy here as a youtuber.
I find it so surprising that i haven't watched your content in such a LONG time and you still sound the same 😭
Yeah, doing theater can be difficult. I always stuck to doing stage crew because I was way too shy about performing. Also, you never know when you’re going to run into one of those theater kids who is just so full of themselves.
Rare case, but still those type of people can ruin the fun of doing theater in an instant
Omggg I remember i used to watch you!!! You were the one that got me to watch rock camp!! I loved it a lot! That was like 3 years ago-
Good to see you Wolfychu 😊💙
I was recently in my school's musical as the Wicked Witch in Wizard of Oz (the only lead without a singing part, despite the fact that one of my really strong areas is singing on stage lol) and there was a scene where I had to throw a 'fireball' at the scarecrow. I got the fireball prop two rehearsals before opening night, and had to figure out how to hide it in my sleeve and throw it at the scarecrow from across the stage. I have terrible aim and on top of that I had to wear these gloves with acrylic nails glued to the end that made my grip terrible 😂
On the second night of performances I actually managed to throw the fireball off the stage on accident. At least it was only a small part of the show lol.
Another good vid by Wolfy! I took theater briefly, but my class never put on a play. Also Wolfy, you're awesome and your singing is beautiful. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I was honestly too shy to sing to do any musical (even now 😅)
Your not alone Wolfy, you're not alone ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love to hear new stories from you Wolfy
i just remembered about you, you were like my most favorite animator when i was younger, i miss watching your videos!
I'm so sorry, Wolfy. While I grew into my stage strength over time, you had a lot of trouble with it. It's certainly a challenge to be composed on there. I get it.
She just naturally speaks in Comic Sans MS I swear... ^-^
Hi wolfy!!! Your one of my favorite RUclipsrs!!!i love your content!!!
