i was typing "where you at they're both brand new underneath" then i heard florida lol im in canada and its quite shocking to see a video in 2020 with trucks of this age that are like that underneath haha
Trust me I know my friend I'm from Northern Michigan where vehicles rust out just as bad as I'm sure they do in Canada there ain't a bolt I can't turn from the factory baby 🤣
I have a 04 zr5 vary clean wanting to do the 6 in lift so bad how much do u think a shop would ask to do ....I've been watching you vids sick work man!!
I follow the tan Crew on insta and I’ve been drooling over that truck for months. I want to do a six inch on mine and I’m glad you showed the upper control arms because I didn’t like the OG placement of the shocks for the 6in. VERY helpful video please continue !
What size is your bed on your truck I am looking for those Bed rails for my truck I have just a extended cab Z cab ZR2 package Please comment back thank you very much for this video
How did you do your exhaust with a trailer hit's a trailer hitch I likeIs the dual exhaust when they come out straight ostraight out the back Please comment back thank you
I wanna lift my 2002 Sonoma ZR2 extended cab, like you were saying Rough Country said can’t use their 6 inch lift. So is it the same case for extended cab 3 doors? Please help.
Very good question my friend the only real difference between a ZR2 and a crew cab is the frame in the front it's 3 inches wider everything else identical so the 6-in RC lift kit will not work on a ZR2 I happen to own a 6-in super lift for the ZR2 in my garage that I've been trying to sell!🤣
@@waltersteffensthezr2man431 After doing some digging into the vehicle RPO codes I’ve established my truck is not a true ZR2 must have just been part of the sales package, the code I have is Z85. That being said it should fit the RC 6 inch lift #244.20.
Bro your just like me. I like better factory parts and doing things people say you can’t. Love the zr2 toutches and stacking the kits. Your also the only person outside of the squatted truck comunity I’ve seen utilize swapped bars. Love this truck all around man
I sold it 3, months ago it was just a little under powered not to bad I did have the 373 gears. I miss ole blue now though lol I got a new Colorado ZR2 to replace it .

What’s the part number for the lift kit? Also the front skid plate? I have 2 inch body lift and torsion keys turned up, also add a leaf in the back. I honestly want to get rid of the add-a- leaf and drop the torsion cause the ride rough as hell right now: Any suggestions?
@@goatfightshop3769 yes sir I've had my hands on about a half a dozen of them in the last 6 years at U-Pull yards they made more of them than I originally thought but all the ones from up North are long gone I live in the panhandle of Florida. To answer your original question all you have to do is type in 2001 Chevrolet S10 6-in lift rough country is the only one that makes it anymore. Don't call and tell him you have a crew cab they won't sell it to you!!
My only assumption is somebody lifted a crew cab rolled it over and then tried to sue rough country I can't think of any other logical explanation why they are so adamant about it not fitting the truck cuz it's baloney!!
I have the two and a half in mine and a 2 inch body lift I wanna get a few more inches could you link the lift keys and shackles that you used to get more lift?
Would love more explanation on using both the 2.5 inch lift in combination with the 6. I have the 2.5 on my crew now but want to go up to the 6. Thanks.
Super easy 👍 basically just use the RC shackles in the back in combination with the leaf spring flip that comes with a 6-in that gives you 8.5 suspension lift then just use the RC 2.5 upper control arms in the front plus the new 6-in drop kit and your in like flinn 😂 you'll have to decide how you want to run your front shocks though!!
I have a 2003 crew cab s 10 just put a 6 inch lift from rough country . Fit like a dream.
Yes sir thanks for your comment!! I sold mine a month ago and got a new new to me Colorado ZR2. Gotta start all over 🤣

the 8.5 / 8.6 was part of the zr2 package. unless you had a HO 4.3 with a 5 speed.

Did you get the TD or the non torsion drop kit from rough country?
TD they both work just fine if you have a zr5 I recommend the non TD so you dont interfere with your step brackets.
Do we know if they fit the first gens yet?
