I love your videos no matter what form they take. With 4 small ones & homeschooling, finding time to post anything verges on miraculous. My heart melted seeing small hands & determined faces. I'm so impressed with the quality of their work! You are an excellent teacher! I've encountered 2 generations now that literally seek out seamstresses to sew on buttons & fix hems. You are teaching important life skills. Your prototype coat turned out amazing & the kid's costumes were darling! Please don't pressure yourself during the way too busy holiday season to edit. It is perfectly ok to just update as time allows even if it's holiday related. Wishing you the happiest of holidays & time to take a breath.
The dirndls are so cute! I used the same pattern to make my niece a dirndl for our Renaissance Festival. I enjoyed this more relaxed vlog style. Merry Christmas.
I enjoy all of your videos, including this one! The format might be different, but it's still fun to see the progress on all of your (and your daughters') projects!
@@susanpolastaples9688 💗💗 thank you! My husband and I are figuring out home plans for the new year. We each have a list of top 5 projects and now we have to decide which ones we are doing first 😁
Those look wonderful. I'm curious (because I'm trying to teach my daughter) did you teach them hand sewing first before letting them use the machine? My daughter wants the machine first because she doesn't have to work as hard (she says).
@@teelehansen4995 I am teaching it both at the same time. I originally started with only hand sewing but they got bored, so I decided to let them use the machine on the slowest setting. I am also using a book called "I'll teach Myself: Sewing Machine Fun" it is from the 90s and there are 2 books in the series.
I love realistic sewing blog. Seeing how people fit things in to real life with kids ans homeschooling and babies. Viseos like this are mych more encouraging to make progress on the pile if things i need to see ( top most eight now is Christmas pajamas that are all cut out but not out together). On some level the ine project all the way thpugh videos are slightly depressing because even though i know you didn't sit down and do it in one go it looks like it, and between schooling and normal family care that is completely unrealistic for my life.
Great video, loved the dirndls. Brought back fond memories of my sister and I dressing alike. As for the video format, do both. Project based are motivating and encapsulate completing a goal. Vlogs are a nice respite and show the ongoing nature to life.

None of the kids wanted to be Edna Mole?
