Can the Autel reset Porsche oil change maintenance light?
Hello in this video I show the process and that the Autel can reset the Porsche oil change maintenance lights.
First off thankyou Lou for the informative video nice going,I got an Autel scanner and I could not figure out how to get the oil service light to stop shouting change oil on my new 2015 Cayenne turbo. I watched you go through it with Hot button. I have various trouble codes. I'm am seeing low battery warnings and the battery may need replacing can you recommend a costco battery that will fit the 2015 Porsche Cayenne Turbo or should I consider a new fangled LiFePo battery? I read the battery is under the seat??? Is it OK to go ahead and clear the codes and scan again?

Hello, which exact autel model is that, im having the same issue for 2022 cayenne GTS. Mileage is 4000km after 5 months use but its reminding me for oil change.

I am likely to think it will. I have recently experienced Icarsoft would reset 2021 panamera, 2021 makan, but not 2017 panamera. So yes there can be unforseen issues.
Can’t it be done during the drain? I’m sure the time allowance for the Porsche oil change can permit the reset.
It absolutely can, some dealers and or techs will make the stance of “if youre not paying for a maintenance, we arent resetting the light “ which is BS. They should not charge separately for resetting, what im referring to in the video is if you do your own oil change, and then take it to them to ask for a reset. Then you may get charged.

Just tried to go to your website...its not working in any case I have a MB '99 s500 sedan on the MB II icarsoft scanner I'm trying to access the correct menu I believe I am a 222 chasis but my vin after the letters is a 51 I don't see that in the menu here.

99 s500 is a 140
2000-2006 s class is a w220
Yours sounds like a 140. And you need the round plug in the engine bay
@@MasterTechLou I have obd2 I dont see 140 even in the icarsoft menus. Yeah the round plug was on some earlier models I don’t have that.
@@B_R_I_A_N_108 ok then you need a different scanner.
@@B_R_I_A_N_108 the obd 2 port on these models is pretty much useless. Its only for emissions stations really just to check for a code and I/M readiness. You wont get much information from that under dash plug.
@@MasterTechLou I had limp mode changed out conductor plate and plug. Made sure all solenoids tested properly. Still in limp though. Some people say there is no need to reset the TCM. Every time I clear the codes in obd2 they come back.

@@MasterTechLou Iowa. It came from Kentucky and has never seen salt, so no rust. It has all the usual issues with 142k miles. I replaced the pass. side coil module 10k ago along with all 24 plugs. Yellowspeed coilovers 5k ago with front sway bar from Airmatic car. New Continental tires and Duralast battery 5k ago. The PSE pump is bad, and now it's acting funny sometimes when I start it up hot or cold randomly. Comand system is wonky so I pulled the fuses. I've just lost interest in it. $2k and it's yours. I drove it to work today
