Nice! Had an intake before but its well noisy on the fr's lol. The part you couldn't remove is screwed to the front of car

Do you have a blowoff valve installed or is that just the natural blow off you get from the intake? Curious to know as I have ordered one online for my MK V

Ali Moslimani now blow off valve installed!! All natural noises from the car. The intake just makes it 100x louder basically

Check your divertor valve , my rev c one made that noise when it was knackered , buy a revision g valve from awsome gti and youl feel a huge difference when changing gear , the flutter noise is your compressor wheel stalling normal noise is more of a pshhhhh

Ive heard people say good things but it does the same thing as the revision g they are still quite tough, ive ran a rev g in my previous and current mk2 leon cupras

Did you swap the DV valve in the end?

If you dab the throttle after you let off it will close the valve (whichever revision you have), which is why his is fluttering.
