When the puppets are moving fast I'm not fast enough with the bow either. I use the Katana though. The zombies in NoS have such long arms though. I still need to do more testing with the Katana. You warmed up to the spear better than I did. I still can't get myself to use it much. It took so much longer to kill the puppets than even things like an axe so I only used one early game to poke them through windows or openings like that.
Does the katana in Scum use a lot of stamina? I liked the NOS katana but it ate stamina faster than the spear and it had limited range - only body mass and no head pops 😂 When I only have explosive arrows, I take too much time to aim and shoot because I blow myself up on occasion…
@@313VeeGaming Did you see the video I posted about using the Katana? I didn't do too good in the video. I didn't want to take the time to make another one. I've been running around taking out the puppets. Something Scum developers have done is severely limited jumping. Doesn't matter your condition jumping twice will completely drain your stamina now. Puppets still jump around and zip around like always though.
@@313VeeGaming You probably wouldn't want to try Scum right now then. 2 jumps and you're at 0 stamina. I posted it in a comment so it might have gotten deleted. Not by you of course but, I have had messages deleted I'm assuming by Google.
I got lucky and found one right away and the quite a few at the bandit camps. Not often I will have 150 liters to fill 3 I imagine, let alone 200 liters for 4. Maybe with 3 oil pumps I will have it. I think the Trader in D5 has had them before though.
@@313VeeGaming I don't use all the ones I find. I just can't leave them behind if I can take them at all. It's like in NMS if I see a large patch of sodium or oxygen it's hard to not get it. Repairing 3 oil pumps won't be a problem. IMO the problem will be having enough power for all the oil refiners to keep up with all the oil you can get. With all of those solar arrays and fuel generators I couldn't keep up with 2 oil refiners going continuously. Again IMO the game needs better power. We've got good power options we just need better equipment for those options. IRL I've got a 10kw portable generator and a 20kw stationary generator that I have to turn off half the furnace for it to run.
@ My plan is to repair and connect the pumps, put charged batteries on the table for the oil, then let them run out the battery. Once the battery runs out, I will disconnect the pumps from the table while I am collecting the oil. Then the thermal generators will charge the batteries, I will process the oil, and repeat. Will have to clear out the area near the pumps but that just means more teeth 🥳 I agree, we definitely need more power options. None of the bodies of water have a current, but water power would be awesome option to have in the game.
@@313VeeGaming I just use a fully charged industrial battery and get all the oil I need. The power is needed refining the oil I'd like to have a bigger generator. In Hold Your Own the windmills actually work. I placed mine on the top of a mountain half way across the map and they work fine. I can also use a fuel powered generator. It's easy to refine the fuel for it. I'd like a bigger fuel generator in the game and the wind and solar to work in the winter.
It seemed like it, but I think it is the difference in strength of the zombies. There was no recent patch or update about it so maybe it is something they are doing behind the scenes and plan on nerfing 🤔
@@313VeeGaming It sure looked like it was one of those options. I thought it might be the arrows because they didn't seem to have much of an effect when they exploded. You could be right though. The arrows might not have much of an effect because the zombies was stronger. The puppets in Scum can have their strength increased in single player and the owner of a server can do it. There's a video of a person showing the amount of arrows it takes from 1x up to 10 x puppet strength. At 1x some of the fast skinny puppets will kill themselves jumping around. I used to get them to chase me around the B2 airport runway and get all of them to kill themselves without having to run over them or shoot them. I know NoS has a setting for zombie strength. I've never seen how much of a difference it makes changing it.
@@flash1259 There’s Weak, Average, Strong, and Very Strong I think. The difference between Weak and Very Strong with a wood spear, for example, would be one poke in the head for a pop vs almost a whole spear’s durability. Probably 10 hits at least, so very well could be the same with a x1 and x10 for hp maybe. Never did the science on that before because there’s no zombie hp bar visible.
@@313VeeGaming I'm sure you've done more testing zombie strength than I have. Even in Scum I just play the game. I do watch videos of other people doing the testing at times.
Your starting off with your incredible fighting. I have a question Vee why do you always say Bobby is this a nickname? Back to looting that sweet and you have become the master of fitting everything in to a backpack 🎒 your videos are so fantastic and what get to me is a soft right now on your video you have 36 views and only 8 like what the he'll is wrong with people and why is it so hard to push the like button. Your not going to die by pushing it and it let's someone know that the hard work and hours of work payoffs. But there are the lazy ones that are scared to push it because they think youtube will put something on their computer. The other thing is that you should never get a bad review because you put out only the best quality content out. Have you turned up your difficulty any or are there just more zombies? Would be nice if the fuel would stack fo you. You are so amazing at looting. You must spend hours putting all you loot away. I know when I am looting and putting away stuff time goes so fast and before you know it is horde night again. Vee another one of a kind fantastic video. Thank you so much for the entertainment. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you thank you! ☺️ “Dang it Bobby” is a quote from Hank Hill from the 90’s cartoon show King of the Hill. If fuel was stackable… we would be in the fuel and fuel accessories business! I don’t mind the number of likes. If people want to push it they will. It’s nice, but I don’t ever ask anyone to like or subscribe to my videos/channel. Either they will or they won’t, can’t force them to 🤷🏼♀️ I will still post videos and have a good time getting teeth and the loots either way! 🥳
