We made our skimboards from 3/8" plywood and put racing stripes on them. Lol! The best one I made was a perfect circle. Ha! We never dreamed of this stuff. At a place like the wedge or waves like this, it is the best way to go!

I heard that Blair has a new skimboard out: the "Blair-a-cuda" (SP?) I didn't make it down until mid-day Sunday and the zoo crowds, but the food at Lost Pier was worth the trek!

So when y’all are skimming out over the open water towards a wave, the hand motions are for balance with a bit of flair yeah? When I used to jump off the dangerously high bridge into the Gulf you had to make a similar hand/arm motion to keep yourself oriented straight up and down...
