Man this is my first WT video to see in a while and that patch sounds INCREDIBLE, but MAN, that amp collection is amazing. Keep it up you guys! Lots of us worship guys probably wouldn't be where we are without your stuff. I can speak for myself and say that I definitely learned a TON of what I know from your old song tutorials back in the day where Brian sang and taught the chords and strumming patterns.
The new cabinet and mic placement was and is a game changer for the helix. I also own a Fractal FM9 and Kemper Profile stage, the helix has no problem keeping up with the other two competitors.
In fact I’m giging the helix this weekend.
And here I am loving the free AC30 patch. I think that patch rocks
Great video guys! As usual, literally the second Line 6 (Yamaha) raised the bar on Helix with 3.6, you raised the bar on how to maximize it. I agree with Greg's comment below - dollar for dollar and all considered, Helix remains the best bang for the buck in the premium modeler space. Form factor (as you guys mentioned again) is probably reason No. 1 for that, but so is the owner community, the excellent UI on both the unit and the desktop app and most-importantly the relentless pursuit of getting the most out of the Helix platform by Line 6. Thanks again guys!
That Shot in the Dark intro 🤘🏻🔥
I believe the Helix is still the best modeler available. As old as it is, it keeps getting better and better. Hats off to Line 6, why would you even need any other sounds other than what this thing can produce? It simply does everything.
I'm building my pedalboard around the hx stomp but I'd love to have a Helix floor instead of all the pedals
Buying a helix was the best financial decision I’ve ever made
The Helix is great and I’m a happy owner but saying it’s the best is a bit bold with the Fractal and Kemper out there.
@@blee3621 And the Kemper isn't even a modeler. It is a profiler. Two completely different technologies.
@@jerk_store true. The comment mentioned “sounds” so I thought it was a big broader, more focused on the user benefit (alternatives to amps) than the specific technology. But you’re correct.
As far as "major" updates to the Helix, I'd love to see a way to enable an "always on" tuner, bonus if it's polyphonic. That's really the only big feature I can think of that I would want. There are also some other things they could do with midi, like give us a way to specify an alternate tap/hold midi command in command center. But yeah, they are kinda running out of "big" things they could do with updates unless there was a way they could move into capture/profiling territory. I'm sure if that EVER happens it will be with a new unit. I can see them releasing a "helix capture" or something like that, and then update the original generation to import (but not create) captures from the new unit.
Gotta love hearing some John Mayer riffs to open up the video!
Awesome John Mayer solo
20:47 "At this point, if you want the unit to be different, you probably don't want the Helix."
Truth.
OD channel + fet boost is wonderful
I really liked the heavier patch, reminded me of my Mark V in extreme mode.
Brilliant video.
That FUZZ is So WOW!!!!
Bought both presets as soon as I saw they were up on the site, before this video came out. So I was able to dial in patches while you guys were playing and able to compare, running thru my 'power amp in' on the back of my Katana and running stereo out to a Peavy KB3 amp. Not sure these will be used in my WT church patches, but hey, I'm an old Classic Rock guy. This stuff just sounds great!
The Bluey theme song made me lol. That's a man with young kids
I also just enjoy the show too 😂
@@worshiptutorials Haha same! Bluey and Big City Greens are both actually funny for kids and adults
uff that "Shot In The Dark" intro 🔥at 0:18
At first I thought of Ozzy Osbourne's song with the same title lol
On my Stomp did some experimenting with the Grammatico and the Elmsley. The Grammatico is very Dumble-ish. Not sure it will work in a worship setting yet. But both of these amp models take more DSP. So probably better on the full Helix. The new fuzz is incredible.
I sold my Kemper, Line6 AND Axe fx 3 for a simple UA Dream 65' because it sounds more real. Now I have money to spare for any pedal I need and it still can be directly plugged into PA!
Patches sound great!! Will you guys be doing any dual amp presets any time soon?
19:36 gave me everything I needed today LOL
Here to serve 🙏🏼😊
I too would like always on tuner, put it in the input or output block as an alternative to the level meter. Also I want the tera echo algorithm from the dd-500.
I’ve always found the dumble amps fiddle to get right. But when you get there, they are awesome. I guess the digital domain would make things more consistent.
Dude just played Dead Man’s Chest by Parkway Drive on a worship tutorial channel like it was nada
12:50 are we just going to ignore the Time Machine you hopped in, aged 20 years, still rocked the hipster vibe, and then traveled back to today for the next segment?
Patches sound awesome! I know this isn’t for this video, but any chance y’all will ever make a version of your bass patch for pod go? I bounce between bass and guitar every other Sunday. I use your patches for guitar but I can’t use your bass patch as I only have a pod go. I would pick it up immediately and would really appreciate it! God bless you guys!
Hi Worship Tutorial, i really appreciate your channel for your efforts doing things like sharing your patches using Helix Line 6 and several expensive pedalboards to help all your church guitarist subscribers.
However, would you please try to share about tweaking a less expensive pedals as well or multi effects such as NU-X effects (MG30), Zoom (G6), Boss (GT1), etc, etc. So that you can also help those guitarist who only have a budget gears. Just saying.
Thank you and more power to your channel.
That was a solid Tommy Boy reference… deep cut.
Rob, you were there…

@@worshiptutorials If you know, you know.
Can someone please help me decide in what direction to go? My last owned digital unit was Line6 HD500 and now can't decide whether to go with Helix or Kemper Stage. My issue with Line 6 was that it always sounded "plastic", or "artificial" but it was convenient to carry around instead of my Hughes & Kettner Triamp with a 4x12 V30 box. I do want a floor unit that goes directly to the mix (balanced stereo) but when I hear Helix on youtube channels like this one here and compare it with Kemper stage version, the "Stage" sounds more realistic to my ears and more like tube amps that I played for years. I want to plug in the guitar and have a great sound without tweaking the settings for hours. What I don't like with Kemper is their way of giving less for more money, for example Line6 always includes the expression pedal with their units while with Kemper, you always have to buy a separate unit.
😍😍😍
Me gustó mucho la guitarra dorada. Me gustaría saber que marca es!?
nice mayer intro vibes
I would love to by these.
Unfortunately I have spent the last 45 minutes trying to purchase them off the website. No option to move from “checkout details” to order complete.
What EG are you using?? Looks like a strat. Also, will you be making a patch with the Aguilar Bass AMP? :)
I'm surprised you seem to not like Elmsley much... I've heard from others that it's the best thing for worship type of sound in the Helix now.... But I didn't have a chance to update and try one by myself yet...
John nathan Cordy did some presets for it the day after it was released, and they sound Nice.
Hi. Why don't you consider to make/include snapshots for HX Stomp as well? Of course it would only be 3 (and surely would not suit everyone taste)... but you should think of it as a "condensend approach" of the Helix snaps maybe. I bet there are a lot of folks that would thank you for that.
Regards!
Some patches can’t fit more than the amps, IRs and verb. Not much to do at that point.
@@bmitchellmusic yeah I understand. My comment was more like to throw a challenge at you guys to make some stripped out patch version for the Stomp. ☺️ But I understand.
I do my own based on your patches... and still works out incredible. Was just curious on what would be your approach to something like this, and that maybe that would be useful for many.
You’re doing a great job! Cheers.
Dangit. Second thanks for Bradford.
Nice to know I'm not the only one who tries to beat him 😂
Is there anyway we can add more IR cab capacity on the Helix using a flash drive on board? I think it can carry only 100 for now. GBU
Now that the GSG100 is released on PodGo, I hope you would make patches based on it too for the PodGo! Thanks!
We’ll be doing that soon!
@@worshiptutorials looking forward to it!
Hi, can you do a John Mayer Artist Patch with the new FW 3.6 ? That would be great. Greetings from Austria
So, are you goin to launch Mayer preset?
it's just another shot in the dark
that Line 6 shrill high end could cut your head off. So glad I bought a Prime and sold my Helix.
come and visit Brazil and record a video
😍😍
Which existing TM IR would pair well with the Grammatico for a Mayer vibe?
We haven’t really tone matched anything that’s quite like a Dumble yet.
We will 100% be using the Grammatico amp model when we tone match our Two Tock TS1. That will be the patch to use. I suspect that’s what Bradford will use to make a Mayer patch as well.
Will you guys revisit previous patches with the new cabs?
We're not currently planning to do that. All the non Tone-Match patches use our IR's that we've made with our own cabs, mics, etc. We love the way those sound. We don't think the new L6 cabs necessarily sound better than those IR's - just different.
@Worship Tutorials Thank you for the response. I'm still learning the Helix LT and was curious if it's worth experimenting with the new cabs. I do enjoy and use the IRs, so great good on that.😀
Are you also taking care of the shop? I buyed a course but still cannot access it. I tried every contact possibility on the website, facebook etc. but no reply since more than a week. I either would like to have access to the course or my money back.
Very sorry about that. We’ll be following up on your support request very soon.
Yoooooo dudes what's the sovtek in the background?
Mig something or another. Coming soon!
Can you guys do a helix beginner video
I just bought one and want a turorial
We got a handful to check out!
@@bmitchellmusicwhy not one on new effects like starting one from scratch
With a shout out😊😅
Please. What is that Strat style guitar?
Shelton SkyFlyte!
Hey guys! I was listening to this while I was sitting right over there👉🏼 👈🏼 👆🏼 👇🏼 🫵🏼
Imagine playing with your foot not on the volume pedal the entire time. LOL must....stay.....anchored.
Tell me you're a dad without telling me you're a dad 19:36
We cut it for time but I did mention it after I sang the jingle haha
Unpopular opinion but I gigged last night with the Grammatico amp model and I wasn't blown away.
I thought the clean was lacking in character. It's a very boring undynamic tone. I liked the OD tone but it wasn't worthy of the praise I hear for it really.
I ended up going back to my regular amp model, the Fender deluxe nrm
First
Disgruntled pod go user😢
That’s the reason I bought a Hx stomp !!
In the past many of these updates like new models eventually come to POD Go - hopefully these will as well.
With all due respect, the helix is a horrible thin sounding unit!
🤷🏻♂️ that’s ok
