When fault finding across a circuit as shown in the video, how do you know which component may be faulty when tracing across multiple components?
I use a similar device at work called “ Huntron tracker 2000 “. Great to have for troubleshooting. I always wanted to buy a portable device similar to the Huntron, your video helps me with that.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT WITHIN UCE-CT220L Fault Locator & UCE-CT220S Fault Locator?
With the UCE-CT220L, the fault detection can be made without the need for a computer. UCE-CT220S is the model that connects to the PC. There are some advantages of connecting to a PC. Database for each PCB can be created and in the future, the fault detection of the same PCB can be done in a much shorter time.
I watching this devices from some time, I rise the question what is the pcb's coverage ? It's something like boardview for laptops? Or Is required to have good one for compare, don't really understand, how its working, without schematics
Scan mode lacks linear progress option with start-end parameter setting.
Even more obvious is inconvenience caused by display blanking between switching scan steps.
More generally, device should be more suitable for portable work, as now despite somewhat acceptable size it still needs something alike a table to be placed.
Option to be mounted on operators hand/wrist would make it much more versatile.
Even more revolutionary solution allowing if not the whole device then at least the display to be held/supported and positioned in front of operators eyesight would allow to create a really ultimate diagnostics tool, without the need of additional assistant to help in carrying equipment "in the field".
Modifying an old portable Analog Scope would work much better then that.
