This is happening to my wife's phone. I'm guessing the time to repair the phone isn't worth the value of the phone.
I couldn’t stand listening to the constant snorting! But kudos on a job well done.
i took the woman's advice down below about putting the phone in the freezer. i put it the fridge for about half hour or so. it took it off the google logo screen. i was able to reset my phone, i just have to re-download some apps but im good to go for now, until it overheats again.
Same problem with my 1st generation pixel

Pixel 4xl second hand in 2020 I paid 249.00 for.
Worked great the first week. Realized it rebooted a few times and realized it would crash on unlock face. Turned that off and now it won't register. Just says cannot register at this time. When camera is launched every once in a while it will freeze and reboot. Then the vibration motor will go off for no reason and very stripped feeling. I tap the back hard and it stops. All these issues have persisted and though everything usually works otherwise I'm loving it. I notice if I press hard on the screen it will cause a freeze and reboot. This was reset so many times so it occurs a week off and on then ok for weeks and then back again for over a year or so. Thanks for any feedback. I wonder if it's battery related as though the battery is sending bad signal or what but it lasts 6 hours sot. I hope it's not a chip issue someone said maybe titan chip. Idk. I've done roms and all. Wiped and relocked bootloader and all stock again still does it. All variants of android. I've had to delete photos app a couple times to get back working. And WebKit. But again nothing fixes forever.
I love this phone. My daughter has one too and no issues. I might get hers and use this one for parts when needed.
Hello, I just bought a brand new Google Pixel smartphone (Google Pixel 1) and I have a problem with the flashlight.
When I turn it on it works, but just at first try. After first try the light doesn´t turn on. When I restart it, it again works but just at first try. So it´s a software. If this is a hardware problem, why does flashlight work on every first attempt? Hardware problem would be if the flashlight didn't work at all or not? It is running on android 10 so I tried downgrade it to android 9, 8 and 7. None of these androids solved the problem.
Do you know how to solve this problem? :(
Bad idea don't buy a pixel again I sure as hell won't.$ 1,000+ for this shit?

Google Pixel is shit. This is my 3rd Device and all doing the same after few months. I am actually done with them.
My pixel 3 doesn't turn on or restart or force restart or reset unless it's plugged in. What to do?
If it's not plugged in, then,
Switch on - Phone won't turn on.
Connect the charger and switch on, it does.
Restart - Phones shuts down but won't turn on back.
Connect the charger and restart, it works.
Reset - Phone shuts down but it won't turn on and won't reset.
Connect the charger and it starts to reset.
What to do?
Sorry if my English bad, my pixel gen 1 have same problem too, but my phone show the monochrome on lcd and already entered on menu the lcd show a random colour or monochrome, are all the consequences because ufs IC ?

I need to ask question for my Pixel 3 I kept getting looping restart and shut down and restart itself. What is the cause? I tried everything like restore etc. Nothing fixed at all. I thought may be battery?
check if your bootloader is unlocked, if so you're in luck.

Hi bro... I have same device And I have used faulty charger ....there are no service centers who's willing to do it. Google provides services but they are charging way to High at which I would get another same device... By looking at videos I think I can repair. Need guidance

And there was another one for 10k for display change
I tried repairing could not do it.... My pixel is in box to be trashed ..... bought 3xl used..... Device is better then 1....2x improvement in camera department.... every thing is improved 2x... nothing much changes I would still love to used 1xl.... However only addition is I can play games without heating issues n battery drain
@@sandice-ml1dk 10k and 11k is outrageous price and it is shocking that they say that battery and display can be an issue. As for my case the phone went into boot loop after I restarted my phone. I regret till this day that I restarted a pixel device
