well is transmitter work have to use the internet? i have a problem too , same i am still find out how its work connect my old nano to My JBL bluetooth speaker without internet, thanks for your video
Great. Now I need to find a realistically portable transmitter, as it’s the iPod I need to have on me, and leave the speaker somewhere. This set up defeats the purpose of Bluetooth, it’s no more free than an iPod hooked up to a stereo with cables lol.
Of course you can directly connect it, this is needlessly complex and requires an extra piece of equipment for no reason, the speaker is portable, the iPod is portable, connect them with the cable and cut out the bluetooth transmitter and you'd be fine, also love the detail of that response "No."
@@TheGameBroswithSirhcandAr0n Seams to me you're hating for no reason... LOL! Also he was using this speaker as a demonstration of the concept. While you are right that the transmitter is an extra thing to carry (as apposed to having a transmitter built in, like on a smartphone for example), this kind of setup at least frees you from only using the IPod with wired speakers... which was the entire point of this video. Maybe this particular transmitter is not all that portable (I don't know, because I can't see it. I'm visually impaired), but I'd imagine there are bluetooth transmitters out there that are designed with portability in mind (battery powered, small size (maybe even pocketable), and so on). Maybe he meant "no" as in "no, I don't want to physically connect the IPod, because I'm using the bluetooth capability on the speaker to demonstrate the concept, and I don't want to have the IPod physically connected to the speaker because I like the extra freedom of movement". Think about these things before attempting to criticize. Ok, I'm done writing this reply, take it or leave it:)
The most of speakers have its LINE IN audio... (such as 3.5mm jack, or two RCA female connectors) to listen ANY audio device with earphones out or LINE OUT... The bluetooth transceiver is useless in this video... The true reason to use the bluetooth technology is to take your player device with you anywhere in the house/office and listen to the music in the speaker with no cables...
Some stereos don't have plug in adapters, but they are bluetooth compatible. By using this device you can play through your stereo. He's just using the bluetooth speaker as an example.
With something like this. www.amazon.com/Miccus-Mini-jack-TX4-Bluetooth-transmitter/dp/B00NMPKVQ8 Aperantly Amazon is out of stock on these, but I would call miccus and see if you can order one from them. (they are good to deal with) Tell em Breakerbroke 23 sent you. :)

@@breakerbroke23 Oh I see. Really appreciate your answer! BTW, which one would you recommend me? Would use it on the street, so a little portable one is what I'm looking for.
Does your ipod have FM radio? If so, can you play the radio through bluetooth. Normally I know the only way to listen to the fm player would be to have wired headphones plugged in to act as an antenna. But will the transmitter act as a antenna and let fm play wirelessly via bluetooth?
My Ipod does not have FM Radio capability. The Miccus only transmits what you put into it (Audio only). I mostly stream FM Radio through the Tune In app.....BB23

After I really give this some thought, this is pointless. We probably prefer Bluetooth on headphones because with speakers all we have to do is plug it up. We listen to music with headphones now, we want to walk wireless. Plus you have to plug it into the receiver anyway. Might as well plug into the speaker if you can use the jack. Some speakers (for example some Sony) don’t have that jack. What’s the solution to that?

Couldn't you just connect it directly to the speaker?
No.
CAN DIRECT CONNECT

I know this is old now but why not just plug the ipod direct into the speaker?
The idea here is portability and the just for the hell of it factor.... Cheers

The iPod is connected to the black box! How is it wireless? This is not accurate.

Cheaper and more portable to buy a new MP3 player. What's the point here?
