- Today we’re going to test Nabla Cosmetics 3 brush sets: Ruby Complete Eye Brush Set, Amethyst Detail Eye Brush Set and Aquamarine Essential Brush Set.
I have a fair challenge for them - double cut crease and also challenge for me - to use new shapes of brushes, different than I usually use.

Remember that you can use any palette and colors you want and you don't need to follow every single step. Tutorials should be also an inspiration, not only step by step instructions :)

I haven't named every brush that I used by it's number (I only mentioned from which set it is), because you can't buy them as single brushes - only in sets. I hope you don't mind, but if you want to know number of particular brush just ask :)

Haha, I can relate :D I love Nabla's brushes, even tho they are in sets most of the time. The quality is great and for the desent price. They all have the same quality and softness, so check on Nabla's website what set would be the best for you :)

Dear Ewa! Thank You very much for this useful video! If You had to choose between the Ruby and the Amethyst set, which would be your choice?

Probably Ruby one.
Ruby set has more brushes, but in the same time Amethyst one is cheaper, so it really depends what kind of brushes you are missing in your collection. Ruby set has more basic brushes like for cut crease, brows, pencil brushes and blending ones, while Amethyst set has brushes for more detailed eye makeup.
Personally from ALL Nabla brush sets I would choose Denude set (and actually I use the most brushes from this set). I didn't present this set here, because it launched in 2019.

I have the Denude brush set, I would like to add something “versatile” to my tools. (Not sure if thats the correct word for it).

You're welcome! I'm also not sure if the word "versatile" is correct here, but I get what you mean :D In this case I think Ruby set would be perfect - angled brush can be used as eyeliner brush, flat brushes are awesome for shimmers (even that one inflexible for cut crease), little pencil ones for inner corner or lower eyelid and the biggest one can be also used as highlighter brush :)
Good afternoon! Well, where I am at least. The only brushes I have are the ones I get in my makeup subscriptions (ipsy, boxycharm etc).

I don't have any subscriptions, I collect brushes for around 5 years now :) I have a lot of brushes from small Polish brands, but also Zoeva and Sigma. After this shopping however I believe Nabla starts to take the lead, haha :D
Unfortunatelly, although Beetlejuice collection is beautiful, it's also very expensive, especially the palettes. I already have debt, because to buy these brushes or recent collection I had to borrow money from my friend. I do what I can to have something for reviewing on the channel, but my financial situation was never good and this year is awful.
Those palettes are gorgeous tho, too bad that Melt is so expensive, even when it's not 2020, lol :D

How have the brushes held up?
Perfectly. I have 2 previous Nabla's sets too (Denude set launched in 2019 and the White Rose (2018) that is not available anymore). All brushes are in perfect state :)
Hello Ewa! You are so talented! I bought the amatist set but I’m not sure if I will keep it... the brushes feel like they have not so much hairs 🙈what’s your favourite brushes brand? Do you have a video with brushes recommendation? Thank you 🙏🏼♥️
So far Nabla has the best brushes I've tried - synthetic bristles, but work like natural hairs, some of them I have since 2018 and they're still in very good shape, don't loose hairs and softness. Their quality is great and as for their quality I think the price is super cheap. They are the softest brushes in my collection and my absolute favourites.
I have also Zoeva brushes. They're good and I like them, but some of them are more rough and I have some types that loose hairs pretty quick. They're ok tho and before Nabla brushes, they were number one in my collection.
Sigma has pretty good quality, but compare to Nabla or Zoeva their brushes are not cheap. A have only a couple of brushes from this brand, but so far seems like a very good solid quality.
I have also brushes from Polish brands like Hakuro - they are the oldest brushes in my collection - cheap, still in a good shape, no hair lost, only paint on the wooden handle started to fall off. Not all of them are super soft, some are more rough than others, but they are super decent as for their price.

So out of the three brush sets , which one ☝🏾 would you recommend for me ? As I’m a beginner in make up . But I only want eyeshadow brushes and not face ones . Thank you . 🙂
That's easy - Ruby one. There are brushes only for eye makeup. On Nabla website there's also Denude set (from the last year), which is eye brush set too. It has different shapes of brushes, so it depends what shapes you want. If you're true true beginner and have no idea about anything, tbh I would recommend totally different single brushes, not brush set, but if you want to dicover your preferencies by yourself (which is AWESOME), then Ruby or Denude should be sufficient (Ruby has more brushes, so more posibilities and you'll learn more shapes and disover your favs).
PS Don't use brushes only as producer says you should - experiment and don't be also discourage if you won't see any purpose for some brushes and you'll stop to use them. You'll get back to them someday :) I have brushes that I haven't used for year, because I haven't known what for or I haven't seen purpose and now I love them :)

Yeah I’m new into makeup and I’m just overwhelmed by the different varieties of brushes available!! 😂😂 I’ve just bought Morphe‘s Eye Obsessed Brush Set. Unfortunately they’re arrived today and I’m not happy with the quality and worst the blender brush is hurting my kids so bad !! 😩😭😭 I need to return them and get my money and get the Ruby set you’ve recommended.
