A short time ago I talked about Russia's new Digital Draft Law on this channel: a law that basically allows to draft anyone into the Russian army by sending a "digital summons" through the e-gov app Gosuslugi. Well, that app also has a new use now: for the past few months Russia started using Gosuslugi as a means of spreading Z propaganda. I myself have also been receiving these Russian propaganda messages, and in today's video I decided to react to them with you guys. Let's see what Russia sent me and what it all means.

I did not confuse the Katyn near Smolensk, Russia where Polish people were massacred with Belarusian Khatyn. In fact, I already talked about Katyn on this channel before (in this video
ruclips.net/video/06ebiTLENWo/видео.html)
Khatyn was the Belarus village destroyed by SS Dirlewanger in WW2, and the whole reason Gosuslugi is comparing the Odessa fire to to it is because both involve people dying in a fire. The comparison to the “Polish” Katyn wouldn’t make much sense even if we’re talking about Russian propaganda here.
Also, the Smolensk Katyn in Russian is Катынь, while the Belarusian Khatyn is Хатынь; which is the word in the email.
Slavic towns/villages have very similar names sometimes.

This may not exactly be encouraging but 50 years ago, when I turned 18, I was faced with being drafted and sent to Vietnam - a war that at that time had been going on for 8 years and ironically was never an actual declared war. To avoid being sent to the "front" I enlisted in the Navy and served four years in places like The Philippines, Japan, Korea and Thailand. I guess my point is - things can change over time. Indeed, I believe I have seen news reports of both some Latvian and Lithuanian citizens having receiving unwelcome and legally invalid draft notices from Russia in the recent months. On paper, via snail mail.
(Also, Latvia considers Russia's war effort in Ukraine so illegal that if a citizen or resident of Latvia were to voluntarily support it, Latvia would be likely to prosecute them upon return (if they survive, obviously). Greetings from Ministry of Defence Russia,
As you know, we have suffered from great success in special military operation in Nazi Ukraine, as such, we require more troops to bolster our frontlines due to the massive gains on the battlefield.
You are required to report to your nearest draft office that is not on fire within 24 hours. If you do not comply, you will be arrested by FSB and sent to prison, then sent to Nazi Ukraine to die anyway.
Please purchase your own weapons and equipment and bring your own vehicle, as our new military doctrine require's the brave Russian soldiers to come up with their own solution in contributing to the special military operation as a form of gratitute to our Soviet forefathers. As such, you will only be provided with uniform when reporting.

Or are schoolkids only taught about the Nazis invading the Soviet Union, but not the years leading up to it?
Putin likes Nazis that's everything what you need to know about it.
There is a reason why Putin founded the Z or the Wagner group is called Wagner group...
And of course they don't tell that school kids
Well, in schools they tell that dealing with Hitler was pretty clever move, because it gave time to Soviet Union to prepare
This is told in schools on history lessons, but not much attention is given to the question. This is part of the education program for 9th grade, together with 20th century history.
On the other hand, the heroism of those who fought in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) is taught to students every year. We have a lot of school events dedicated to that and such.
How are those facts presented (the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact I mean), depends on the teacher. But do you realise how much are dumb children capable of learning during just 1 lesson intended by the curriculum?
P. S. Aren't American schools only focused on what happened after Pearl Harbor?
@@namesurname-1488 At least, if was change to avoid a big war.
@@namesurname-1488 Stalin didnt want to believe Hitler was gonna invade. Flowing with the guy instead helped nazis figure out all weak points of the red army.

"Laws" in Russia are like "rules" in a game played with a child.
More like guidelines, as Captain Barbossa would say.
That's exactly what felt like, when I lived there.
Laws are for little people. They're deliberately written in such a way that anything can be interpreted as breaking the law, and thus the government has a mechanism for imprisoning anyone they want whenever they want. The big shots have their own set of rules, mainly concerning from whom they can steal without falling out of a window.

I’m glad there’s an actual russian telling how the people with eyes open see it.
If I were Roman, I would take drastic actions to keep out the war. Most importantly to make the western people realize, its the Rus government, not so much the people.
Respect for allowing me to see Russia in a good light, since as a Finn, we don’t have the best history.
But governments differ from people, let’s keep that in mind.
Let's keep in mind that the people enable it. They can fight back and remove Putin, just like Nicholas 2 was removed.

The next update they send out should be about how the Soviets were allied with Nazi Germany for 2 years before Operation Barbarossa began. Even fought WITH Nazis in Poland.
Also that if Stalin had gotten Bulgaria that he would've joined the axis.
Don't forget Poland was allied with NAZI Germany during the dismantling of Czechoslovakia.
When world war 3 starts, Germany will invade Poland, just because...old habits
Yeah, if Hitler didn't think that Stalin was greedy on a level that leaves no space for negotiations , at least the alliance would have lasted longer....
Non aggression pact, not alliance.
Britain and France also had such a pact with Nazi Germany at one point.
