I'm about to start making my first ever pen with a Hexa pen kit and this video has been extremely helpful.
Cheers!

That is a very nice looking pen kit, I think the beauty is in the simplicity less is more as they say, great video Jon :)
Thanks 👍
The pen looks really good BUT the cap is horrible with a round body. The hexagonal body looks very nice.
Good stuff - as always+++++
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Jon, Nice looking pen. I prefer the gold to the chrome. I do like the hexagonal wooden one and thought how would it look if you just rounded the last few millimetres where it meets the cap. I'll have a look at these on your website. Take care Jon. Cheers, Huw
Hi Huw,
there are quite a few ways to finish this pen - even turned close to the size of the cap, sadly I can't show them all. What I hope is we have a versatile kit to do these things with instead of just a flat tube. What I forgot to mention is it doesn't roll anywhere unlike most kits. Cheers, Jon.
@@prokraftuk Hi Jon, I wasn't being critical just "thinking out loud" so to speak. Does this kit have a rollerball kit as well? Cheers, Huw
Rollerballs are in production hopefully about 4 weeks. All ideas are good and you're right I think it would have been better with the ends just smoothed over - too late once I had assembled it - I will try it when the rollers arrive and let you know.
@@prokraftuk I'll wait a few weeks for the rollerball pens and then buy some. I really like this kit. Huw
Are these in rollerball or just fountain ?
Rollerball on their way soon!
@@prokraftuk ill be snapping them up !
I agree with Wooden it be Nice and Peter Bustin, I'll have to try one and try to make a wood cap.
As an ex photographer i'm wondering why all the U Tube vids use auto focus and not set it on manual.
Hi Alan, I use autofocus as it's one thing I usually don't have to think about in a long list of things I do have to think about. They are not as easy to film as they may appear.
