Hi Jon, I really like the hexagonal pen body for looks but I have to agree with you in that the step from the body to the nib end would drive me nuts.
Pens are one of the most tactile things we use and I think a ridge between body and nib would feel wrong.
Each to their own as the saying goes.
I will be buying some of these as I really like the kit which allows the blank to be the star of the show.

Thanks Huw, nearly all fountains & rollerballs have that step or a thread - just a different idea and one that is used on my desk every day. Keep doing your sectional blanks they are great. Jon
