I loved that little one foot hop you did on the balance beam. It looked so elegant. Peggy Liddick did great on that choreography.

Shannon, you’re one of the first American sports idols I had after I immigrated to the US in 1992. You also inspired me to pursue ballet as a hobby and not feel embarrassed by it.

I just love this routine ❤ The music and artistry are sorely missed from today's gymnastics, which focuses on only difficulty. Shannon was beautiful to watch

Shannon! I absolutely love , love, love these reaction videos. I had just turned 17 when i watched these olympics on Tv back in 92. I recorded it on the high tech VHS😂and replayed it many times. I always wondered what was going thru your and all the gymnasts minds during the routines. Of course there was no internet or discussion boards, chats, etc to get others opinions so you just never knew anything more than the televised competition from NBC. And now 1000 years later😂j/k (although it feels like a lifetime) i finally know😊 Please keep them coming

This is just beautiful Shannon - choreography, dance, expression and of course the quick fire Tumbling across the floor.
One Q from me - I think I remember a commentator saying you had been training a double layout on floor since 1991 but you didn’t throw it until 1996 - was there a reason you didn’t go for it in 92? Xxx
