    Hey Steve,
Great video! I'm sure when Nicole least expects it, you will get even for the intro!! :)
In the first example you showed, weren't you off by 1 stop? You indicated you get your base exposure without any filters and then added a 6 stop, a 3 stop and the polarizer (which typically blocks one stop as well). That would indicate a need for a 10 stop slower shutter speed instead of 9. Just curious? I usually get my base exposure with the polarizer on the lens and then add the NDs and adjust for them. Maybe it doesn't really matter and I am overthinking it! Your thoughts?

Hi Bruce, Thanks I probably could have explained that better. When I setup my initial base exposure I have the polarizer on and rotated to give me the amount of polarization I want for the image. That becomes my base exposure. After which I will add whatever amount of ND filtration I want and then add shutter speed to the original "base exposure" to compensate for the amount of ND filtration I am using.

Would you please repeat the name of the ND filter unit you use. I enjoy your videos. Thank you.

Hey Larry sorry that was a tough shoot! there was a constant threat of being washed away by the waves lol. Unfortunately my speaking suffered!!! The filter set is made by Haida and we use the M10 holder with their polarizer and the 3 stops and 6 stop ND filters. -Steve
