Real sumo training is rough tho. Much more than any other martial art I reckon. Not due to physical exertion, but by the fact that you don’t live at home and don’t get paid until you make it to a pretty high rank. Oh yea and if you don’t get paid, you do cleaning and cooking.

Muay thai stance eats double leg takedowns. Boxing+bjj only what you need as base. Dangerous on the ground and on your feet too. What does wresstling do if you can only choose beetween getting punched in the face or choked out?

Wrestlers by far transition the best into mma. It’s a little bit tough with jui jit su but once they learn to hide their neck they become pretty tough competitors
In addition to not doing any sweeps with Muay Thai, I love how they didn’t throw any fists, like Muay Thai is called kickboxing-emphasis on KICKBOXING, boxing and kicks.
You guys ever done eastern martial arts? The way those guys were screaming was kind of goofy, but when done properly it does multiple things: reminds you to constantly breathe, tightens your core and releases the air from your lungs so if you get hit you wouldn't be as winded, releases adrenaline, and if done properly can even scare/intimidate opponents

I love them all. Muay Thai is powerful Taekwon do is graceful. Nobody can punch as slick as a boxer Ju Jitsu is swag Judo has style Wrestling is effective Sumo is the beauty generated from a very restrictive but entertaining combination of tradition and fun.
They all have strengths and weaknesses. It’s your job as a martial artist to find what things work the best from where and make your own blend of style with it. Unless you’re only training for fun then do whatever is the most fun and physically rewarding
Fr Muay Thai always trains shin, and catching kicks. Padwork, Heavy Bag, and Shadowboxing is the most common training. Muay Thai spars soft though, but it still is more brutal compared to Boxing sparring, Boxing spars harder though

Judo/karate as a kid, muaythai + BJJ as a teen, MMA as an adult. I was always pretty happy with my base. Very practical and useful in 1v1
