- A woman claims she experienced extreme pain and complications following an HSG test at the Eco Scan lab in Wuse 2, Abuja. She reports heavy bleeding for two days, requiring her to change diaper every two hours. Point od correction, you dont give anaesthesia to do HSG, it is not rhe Standard but fan be use in rare extreme cases.HSG lasts for just 5-10mins to give anaesthesia. Zikora was just trying to explore the extreme scenario

Eco lab is not supposed to reduce the Ezekiel’s money. They are supposed to suspend him with full pay until full investigation is carried out but they don’t care about humanity that is why they allowed him to continue working; that is why Zikora is trying to clear Eco Lab without first apologising to the woman whom they nearly killed. The continue to push blame buttons without taken proper responsibility of their error hence will continue their mistakes. This Lab is supposed to have been shut down for proper investigation

Hsg is painful, the day I carry my left leg go do am, I passed out small them buy orobo sprite dey beg me make I wake up, na only something like ovulation I see no blood. But after like 30mins I gain my self back but this one she's talking I don't understand.

Formally known & headed by Dr. Benson as Eco scan in the 90's & early 2000 & was accurate in all diagnosis, but was renamed to Eco Lab & a lot changed
HSG pain no be here oo😢 the worst part is that doctors will keep telling you to back and do it. I did it twice and gave up because my second experience almost made me mad.😢

For the sole fact that a patient's personal information was given to another patient is a breach of data protection and confidentiality. The company should be sued and fined heavily. Not even sure if that is going to happen in Nigeria.

Some of the laboratory today do their test off head .they will just gaze with their conscience and write results
I’ve done his test before and I’m having PTSD just remembering it as this lady is talking. It’s an extremely painful test! And I bled but just a little. Most of what came out was the dye inserted into the fallopian tubes. Most of my pain was on the first day and I made sure I was taking pain medication to avoid being uncomfortable! Neeways, I’m not underestimating her experience. Everybody tolerates procedures differently! And lady, you shouldn’t have announced the other person’s name for patient confidentiality reasons! The lady may sue you for that.
The lady's name was annoucef so she can come pick up her results. No pun intended.

Do you even know what it is? It’s a test that’s recommended when you’re having severe fertility issues! So now everyone will know she’s having problems conceiving? Abeg spare me!

@@uchenathaniel4299 I don’t think so, I watched this video very well. He was making assumptions of what he thinks ohh based on the woman’s narration. He was then trying to confirm from the woman if that was so. She agreed most of the times but she GAVE HER REASONS too.
He was only watching the time. He is a good moderator. Not sure why you insulted him . His verdict and utterances were clear, sound and accurate. So you need to apologise to him for insulting him

. 😊HSG Is not a procedure that will make one to have severe pain nor bleeding for days. A lot of negligence is going on in all this private labs in Nigeria I pray God help this lady that her uterus had not been tampered with. I have done this procedure. I didn't feel pain that much
Pls don't say what you don't know, this test is very painful but the bleeding is what I can't say, may God give people children without going thru this investigation in Jesus name, I did the test and through that day I was crying and dying at the same time

That’s you. I did it and the pain I suffered was extremely severe! In law, it’s clear that two people can undergo the same procedure and have extremely different experiences. Just because you didn’t have much pain doesn’t mean she didn’t. I repeat, I did it and the pain was severe.

You will only feel pain during the insertion of vaginal speculum.
We use a plastic HSG tube that will be introduce into your body for the injection of the contrast.
The radiologist will signal the Dr when to inject the dye and the Radiologist captures the image on the computer, and that the end.
Patient is being cleaned up and assist out of the couch, she goes to the washroom and dress up.

I have done HSG test but is not as painful she is explaining it to be .....I was even given pain relief pills after the test .....but if she experienced all this she is saying it means something is wrong either the person dat did it wasn't a professional

The same thing happened to me at maitama district hospital Abuja mine was was because it was wast because it was pampers I used when the blood bust out of my body and disgraced me when I want for my result but I thought it was normal after the HSG.
They inserted some thing into my private part saying I have a narrow pelvic so they have to insert that pipe for urine I don't know how to call it after everything the Dr. Was telling me sorry that I am not supposed to work with it, is over 8yrs now but I have not gotten out of the problem they created in my womb, I really regret going for that HSG and I will never do it again for life

Madam it wasn't as painful you are Helen while she is Patience, common sense should tell you that individuals feel pain differently. I've gone through the same procedure and Epidural was done for me. When it comes to pain Madam speak for yourself.
Maybe you were given the proper anaesthesia or even epidural. Also, there's also a fear that they might have punctured something in her or done something wrong in her body which caused her such excruciating pain and bleeding

No Anasthetic.
They don't administer anaesthesia when doing ECG. It's a painful test but this woman's case is different cux it seems they ruptured an internal body part

It is obvious the moderator of this program/consultant is parochial and sentimental. You don't put words words into the complainant's/lady's mouth.
This is a clear case of mixed-up documentation. It occurs once in a while in every medical facilities, I guess the matter was not properly managed or moreso was blown out of proportion, perhaps because the reporter has means of getting to. Breketw family.
While the facility may not give you the best, to some persons it gave them the best.
