I love your haul! I got the Going Merry Logbook in the smaller size last year. I still use the dust cover on it. I think he would have enjoyed the calendar so he could see the birthday’s of the characters, and some of the artwork from the Manga. An idea for a Christmas gift. This year I got the A5 ‘A 1000 Sunny Days’ cover. Not happy it is neutral. Sometimes I think about dying it, but know I will screw it up. For some reason my order is on hold until the end of December. I do not know what I ordered that got it pushed back until that long. I ended up having to ship it to my parents place, since that is where I will be between Christmas and New Year’s. Makes me sad that I will not be able to touch that One Piece Hon i ordered, until right before the new year. I use washi tape, and tape my ribbons of my weeks planners down and out of the way. We too have a cat, but she is not that interested in my ribbons. Oh and covers on covers, they are pretty sturdy, so I would not worry about being too rough with them. At least for the weeks. The A6 and A5 with the ziplock sometimes causes a bit of ripping in the plastic, but not so much that it is very noticeable.

I'll definitely use the washi tape to tuck my ribbons away and love to hear that the cover on cover is more durable. :) My husband doesn't really use paper calendars much but I'll have to take a look and see, that might be a nice gift for him later, even just to have for the character birthdays like you mentioned.
