    Absolutely beautiful. What does the resonator do other than look amazing?

      You can hear it resonating acoustically and there’s a piezo under the saddle so the sound comes through plugged in.

    It looks great, but considering that the acoustics of an electric guitar have nothing to do with tone, unless you use an acoustic pickup...is that what you used?
    Are we just hearing it acoustically? It sounds too loud for that. What pickup are we hearing?

    • @silvermanguitars
      @silvermanguitars  Год назад

      You are hearing it acoustically, it is a resonator guitar so the resonator cone is making most of the sound.

      @@silvermanguitars
      So it's much louder than an unplugged electric then? How would it compare to a flat top acoustic?
      You really did a great job btw.
      What's the selling price? Without the neck, just a completed body minus pickup, preamp. Is it 25.5 inch scale?
      Did you mount a mic in it?

    • @silvermanguitars
      @silvermanguitars  Год назад

      @@duderama6750 maybe around 70% volume of flat top acoustic. There is a p90 and a piezo in the bridge. 25” scale.

      The acoustic volume is pretty impressive. Were did you source that cone? Is it a special size? I wouldn't think you could fit a cone into a standard size solid body.

      Cone is a National Hot Rod. Actually I work in the opposite way, I get the parts first and design the instrument to fit them.
